found the solution

the soundblaster patch... maybe its just the 112f patch. Either way repatching wiht this made it work

I have done... twice :S

if i run the editor from its folder its a runtime error and if i run it from the deus folder its that pawn thing... it never happend before if i recall. Oh bums :(

I get this when i start the editor. I've googled it but have turned up nothing concrete and have reinstalled the game. I thought you edit-y types may know.

What do you mean? It was released yesterday, did you miss the memo?
evidently. I read this. Then your site was down for 10 minutes and I was hoping that it was because lots of people were trying to DL the mod the site had hung for me. But no.. its all LIES!

On looking at it again it looks fine.. its just that the far one looks a bit bright. IF its ok and not a corruption aor antything then I will continue to play on !! here is the screenie for reference though It was VERY late at night when I got there my eyes were falling out of my head! hey, I had an urge to play deus ex again so I got the high def tex pack. however. I got the error where I needed to change the shortcut link and I did that.
