Re: Stuck in World Corp basement
Thanks, didn't think it could be so easy. I thought I had missed the info somewhere in the facility or even an earlier level

Re: Stuck in World Corp basement
When I log in to the security console in the upper security room, all I can do is toggle two cameras. No UC code downloads anywhere. I've also been in the ThatGuy room, but no idea how to login to the pc there. I'm stuck. Forgot something? PS: is there anything "important" in the cell area justifyin...

Re: Patch 1.0.1
Small bug in DXEditing: the left glass door at the top of the main stairs leading upwards is nonsolid, you can walk through and see the dead end corridors then.

Re: how the hell did you guys kill ZP?
It happened in 10 seconds of panic. I ran towards him, after the "talk" ran further through the opposing door, into the office room. Switched on the light due to "Hey there is a switch, maybe some kind of defense? Oh, a light..." Then I turned around, saw him in the door, fired a emp missi...

Re: Maan ShadowCode was flippin' tough.
I just finished it. The ShadowCode part is great in it's own way. Yes, a commercial product with that kinds of inavoidable traps, especially "have to take damage to get through" (*cough* who invented that turret room??? *cough*), would be bashed to death - rightly so. But this is a mod! You can do t...

Re: TNM original soundtrack?
Any half-decent media player should be able to play the .ogg music files. They just HAPPEN to be in the /DeusEx/TNM/Music folder
Download the codec (win installer: http://downloads.xiph.org/releases/oggd ... -win32.exe ) in case you cannot playback them.

Re: Release Party Pooper
That were more than 2 files, but all .u type. I can make a list if someone really needs to know, right now I'm happy everything is running
Also, Frankguy is right: my efforts included installing the visual c++ thingie, so that MAY also be necessary.

Re: Release Party Pooper
I CANNOT BELIEVE IT, IT WORKED! TNM is starting      So the solution to the error is (for me at least): When applying 1.112 patch, at the end of the install procedure, you are asked if you want to overwrite some .u files. Select "No" for each. Hopefully t...

Re: Release Party Pooper
The VC++ did not help. The other 2 ideas were already in effect. Thanks for the efforts though :) Anybody give me at least a pic of Helga's Kraut Castle ( K astle?) Stupid question: the patch installer asks if i want to overwrite some .u files. Clicking "Yes" is correct, yep? Just strange ...

Re: Release Party Pooper
Thanks for the ideas. I posted here as I guessed most people encountering this problem now will be due to TNM ;) DX in install version (1.003) works. Any patched DX does not work. I tried all renderers, downloaded the opengl 3.4 and DX8/DX9 renderers from the link, still the same. Has it something t...

Re: Release Party Pooper
Hello everyone, I have the same problem here. XP SP3, Deus Ex German version (no GOTY I think). Installed DX again after a looooooooong time, when I heard about TNM. DX crashes when patched to 1.109fm_D1 (earlier attempt) and 1.112fm_D1 (now) with that error. Have not tried the unpatched version (1....
