I think I got it.. I had to use the DXFix file in the link you posted above ( 2nd page) The new DeusEx.exe works with DX10 but it sucks cus HDTP won't work. DXFix makes you able to use OpenGL and HDTP retaining your resolution and bit settings.

Thanks that does help if i wanna use the DX 10 but will the HDTP still load all it's bits and pieces? - Is there a way to make HDTP work by just overwriting texture files like New Vision does?
