Deus Ex: Total Graphics Overhaul

Since I got permission from the relevant parties, as requested in the other thread , I have done and uploaded an installer which packages HDTP Release 3 with New Vision 1.5. Note this is nothing patently "official" for either project, but just something I'm doing since it was requested. http://www.m...

I just received permission from the relevant parties to do this. I like the name, so look for it under that in the next day or so. I'll announce when I know it's up.

Re: "Improving Deus Ex's Graphics With Mods" - Any updates?

You wouldn't happen to know why? Also, I might as well ask if ENBSeries is worth installing? I've never tried it myself. Nearest that I understand, it's a bug in the DX10 render that happens on Nvidia hardware. If you want the more stable renderers, go with the DX9 or OpenGL one. Actually for the 2...

Re: "Improving Deus Ex's Graphics With Mods" - Any updates?

Just wondering if there are any updates to the guide that I ought to know about? That list is pretty much it. The only newer "thing" since that guide is the two newer versions of HDTP and the final version of New Vision. Check this for the newest version of HDTP , which is in an installer which wil...

Re: HDTP Beta Release 3 Support

I thought I'd document some things on the installer itself which will help if anyone wants to package it along with their own mods. (Also functioning as bumping this topic.) You'll notice I've done this with the GMDX installers I've done in the past. In order to run the installer, you unpack it from...

Right, I'm aware of this. Yuki seems more active (along with the interest in Shifter), which is why that name came to mind.

Re: HDTP Beta Release 3 Support

By the way, I'd like to ask you guys whether or not it is possible to have HDTP, NV and Human Renovation together. Specifically, using Human Renovation's DeusEx.u file rather than the HDTP one. It's possible: Paths=..\huren\*.u Paths=..\HDTP\System\*.u Paths=..\System\*.u Paths=..\New Vision\Maps\*...

He had it on the list but already posted there. I wasn't really aware of it though myself. I'll have to register and go over there and post about HDTP and my own project.

Re: GMDX v8.0 Release Date Revealed

It's unfortunate quality game design quite obviously cannot sell itself. We need marketing campaigns! How delightful. Yep or anything, to get beyond the noise and din of the 2 million other people pushing stuff. Not to mention the sites that really don't want any part of your marketing (forums and ...

Or is that you?
I would say that given the way it sounds, it's probably the VO actor that did the news intro at the beginning of Nihilum.

Re: HDTP Beta Release 3 Support

A quick question: If I can get the permission, is there any interest for me to upload a HDTP+New Vision installer?

Re: HDTP Beta Release 3 Support

Also Kentie's launcher is recommended for the Steam version, so the executable shouldn't be much of a factor. The steamversion is bascially the GOTY version with a DRM'ed exectutable. There are no other files changed. Both very good, as I have been using the GOTY version, and the replacement EXE is...

Re: HDTP Beta Release 3 Support

You might want to challenge your luck on Steam Deus Ex GOTY/Revision forums. At least there are quite some people around.. Yes. I might have to see if I can get on there and post. I don't know anything about how compatible this would be with the Steam version, but hopefully it will be smooth enough...

Made in China wrote:Very nice! I'm guessing it'll be the final version of HDTP? Development has pretty much stopped a while ago afaik.
The ones responsible for primary development will have to answer this, but I get the feeling the main issue for any more will be finding people willing to do remaining textures.
