Negative. I know that by the laws of physics, that should work. But I tried it and it made it worse. I've gotten the mic working correctly. It didn't come with the appropriate software, but the manufacturer had it on their site.

Did a lot of "jiggling the handle" device manager style and it's working key.

Also using a quiet computer now. With a shock mount. ZOMG

Awesome. For father's day, my wife got me the shock base thing... you know, the isolator. That makes it float. Ha.
