Re: Happy Birthday Bob!
Sorry about my late birthday wishes, but Happy Birthday Bob. Given that we live in the same city, I think it's fairly safe to say that anyone I heard running amok around this time was you jumping about in fits of joy at being a whole year older.

Re: Low health
Kaiza, you were playing as a Llama? For some reason I always pick Goat... With the exception of that one playthrough I always side with the Goats as well. I was just responding to the original poster's question about any low health dilemas we have had while playing The Nameless Mod. Fighting the Ll...

Re: Gun turret as a gun
I'm sorry that I don't have any advice on how to accomplish this, but I do think that using the sentry gun as a usable weapon is such a deliciously evil idea. I love it.

Re: Low health
"Abuse of scrambler grenades" and "abuse of cloak". Are you an abusive person? I would hate to be your wife. I joke. Seriously though, I cannot recall any particular instance where my health was at ridiculously low levels but it would have happened at least once. I normally have an overabundance of ...

Re: Community
Welcome to the forum Robd. Yes, this is an excellent forum with a great deal of people who seem to know each other well and have for some time. I look forward to getting to know all of them better also.
Edit: That includes you as well naturally.

Re: Some aspects of the mod are really bugging me
The Star Wars: Jedi Knight series was a really beautiful example actually. Unfortunately I have only ever completed Star Wars: Dark Forces, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, all some time ago, so there are a few gaps in my knowledge and my recollection wo...

Re: What are you playing?
Team Fortress 2. I want to try out a variety of the classes but I am completely addicted to using the spy. It's probably a good thing because once I have had my fill of this character, I will be able to use a different character and have a whole new experience.

Re: Some aspects of the mod are really bugging me
Games are serious business, because games are a business. Developers can't afford to make silly fun games. Players like being strong important gods. "Videogames as escapism" is not always true, but "Loser Simulator" is not fun either. A "loser simulator" isn't exactly what I was trying to describe ...

Re: Some aspects of the mod are really bugging me
The things in The Nameless Mod that sgt0pimienta said are detracting from his overall experience are the exact reasons why I enjoyed this game so much. In regard to what Justanotherfan said about The Nameless Mod not taking itself seriously, this was extremely refreshing for me when I noticed this d...

Re: New Stuff
Yes, the current release contains all the texture packages but only some of the textures in them are replaced. The new download will be all the texture packages again - so they'll overwrite the old ones, but this time contain more textures. Thank you Dave. I will download the new textures tonight. ...

Re: New Stuff
My goodness, these textures look incredible. Just a question, it is my understanding that the New Vision mod is available on Mod DB but that it isn't the final product. If I were to download it, would every new addition that you add to the project necessitate me having to download each addition indi...

Re: Hack! Hack! Hack! I'm not coughing.
Sometimes I usually end up remembering stuff later on but it can take up to a few weeks. It's probably due to me not paying much attention to stuff as I'm usually thinking about random things even when I'm doing other stuff or something, I don't know. I relate to you in this instance in particular....

Re: Hack! Hack! Hack! I'm not coughing.
Like Gamer0004, I have a fairly simple default password for things which don't require a great deal of security. With most forums, I will have the same password and should it be figured out, it won't matter too much as there are no private details associated that account, or the email used to regist...
