Re: It's done.
Congrats on the release, Dave (and anyone who helped along the way). I doubt I'd have the patience or dedication to complete a project like this. I'll have to replay Deus Ex again with its new coat of paint after I get some other games out of the way.

Re: OpenGL Renderer
Seems to have gone over its bandwidth quota. I guess he experienced a surge in traffic for some reason...maybe because of the TNM release. Or maybe Deus Ex was mentioned on a large forum somewhere and a wave of people were compelled to re-install it.BoneofMalkav wrote:The site's dead atm from what I can tell.

The thing is not damned by god, it is, if anything, blessed. How else do you explain how it managed to keep such talented people doing a job with so little thanks for so long? I wonder the same thing... Sure this stuff is cool, but I still think it would be difficult to reignite the interest in som...

Re:
The GUI fix is excellent, but there's just 1 minor, annoying thing. On the main title screen with the spinning logo, the 'Deus Ex' text is only half visible for some reason. This is caused by the game not using the correct FOV for widescreen resolutions by default (which isn't unexpected). From the...

These are the INI settings I use. I don't have any issues running with this on my HD4870, so if anybody wants to give it a shot here it is: [OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice] Translucency=True VolumetricLighting=True ShinySurfaces=True SinglePassFog=True Coronas=True HighDetailActors=True DetailTextures...
