Re: What are you playing?

I played a bit of Miasmata today. It's starting to get good, I figured out how cartography works and went on a little adventure into the swamp. I noticed a big stone wall with a gap big enough for me to fit through, but I ended up falling off the mountain and getting a fever. I managed to find my kn...

Re: What are you playing?

Playing through the Megaman Battle Network games. Nearing the end of the first one and that power plant dungeon was the worst thing I've ever played in any kind of RPG ever made. Well, at least it was just one part. And if a bit like it ever pops up again, I have cheats and I'm not afraid to use the...

Re: What are you playing?

I have officially had my first experience of being robbed by a Steam sale. All those awesome Early Access games didn't help keeping me from going down to 23$ in my bank account, either. And now Bioshock: Infinite is out, and I have to somehow scrape up enough money to buy it in the next Steam sale s...

Re: Great Steam Sales

So. The Spring Indie sale.

I recommend Darwinia, Recettear, Deadlight, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome, FTL, The Ship, and Miasmata.

Re: What are you playing?

Noticed that the Red Faction games were on sale, got Guerilla for $5 because goddammit THQ having not made it part of the THQ collection. Alright, now hopefully GFWL won't give me too much shit to register an account and play the damn game. If it does, I'll have to use Xliveless, which was made for ...

Re: What are you playing?

If nobody here's tried the L4D2 "Improved Bots + Rayman's Mutation Mod", I highly recommend it. The mutations added by the latter are amazingly fun, (Especially the solo Campaign/Survival/Scavenge ones) and the Improved Bots one makes the survivor AI much, much better as well as allowing you to swap...

Re: What are you playing?

@ AO How are you playing fallout tactics? Difficulty level? TBS or real time? Iron man? Normal difficulty, Real Time, Iron Man Disabled. Anyway this game handles addiction terribly. I was doing the shitty stealth mission (The second mission in the game) and since a grand total of one (Possibly two,...

Re: What are you playing?

instead ended with you flying into outer space and commandeering a Ballistic Orbital Nuclear Missile Base and bombing them with that. Hmm... sounds oddly familiar... Obviously, JSawyer is a time traveler, and attempted to steal the concept for the ending of TNM to use it in Fallout 3, but had his e...

Re: What are you playing?

Reading about all the Van Buren stuff that never made it into New Vegas, I can't help but think how much better Broken Steel would have been if it's quest line ended, not with the invasion of the enclave base, and setting it to be bombed from within, but instead ended with you flying into outer spac...

Re: What are you playing?

This time through New Vegas I'm going with the Underwater hideout. It's got all the features of the Underground Hideout, plus some more conveniences, and it's less cramped and more aesthetically pleasing, so I'm not seeing Grey walls and Grey floors everywhere with a few hard to notice decals on the...

There's a console command that will let you disable it if it really annoys you that much.

Re: What are you playing?

Huh. I never realized Mission Mojave was a totally unnecessary and game breaking "bug fix" that disables generic female NCR soldiers and completely breaks "You'll Know It When It Happens". Ah well, at least I can uninstall it, and it's not like uninstalling the additional MMUE+ compilation will brea...

I've heard a few rumors about it also coming to steam, but this is cool.
