The two most noticeable bugs I've found in 2.0
Howdy folks, Been a while! Not sure if you still read these forums regularly, or whether Steam would be a better place to discuss 2.0, but I've noticed two rather serious things in my playthrough of the current version: - Certain doors are indestructible or have higher damage thresholds than stated ...

Re: TNM v2.0 Miission 20 Patch
Just dropped by to tell you this is like a dream come true! I'll probably wait until this 2.0 is completed before playing, but still, it's an amazing expansion to an amazing adventure and I'm super glad you guys decided to go through with this.

I was always under the impression that my version was the latest one available! I better double check that then...Hassat Hunter wrote:*cough* 1.0.4+ *cough*
EDIT: Apparently it is! I can't pick up Jonas' body, and that is a feature you implemented. Still, the error ensues

Re: Hidden in plain sight
I still overlook that battery charge in ABI in the hangar... in plain sight. You mean the Gibbattery? I did ABI just today, never found any either -__- Which suxx0rz, because I want to convert some random mook into a heap of gory chunklets! Too bad the explosion doesn't work, neither does it with t...

Re: What faction do you think it was the most good?
What I've noticed about the Goats is that they have a really, really beautiful city, the Templae (TM) notwithstanding. It's probably the most beautiful location in the entire game, and possibly the most beautiful environment ever created on the Unreal Engine. And Athena's luxurious apartment, along ...

Guess what happens when you discharge the ROFL after banning Scara and blowing up the station! You get the "Rule Alone" ending, but the denouement plays as though you only blew up the station, so it assumes you chose the Ryan ending. And slight contradictions ensue :P I like the kind of playthrough ...

Re: Unofficial: Suggestions, Gameplay Help, and Questions to
Time for some strictly gameplay stuff now. What I've noticed recently: - If you knock out the dude Trestkon uses the help of to get to the fire escape next to Sol's, he strangely enough still answers the holocom. I did this before even leaving Downtown. Also murdered Jackie and Alpha in cold blood a...

It's also important to remember the psychological effect where people who make a choice knowing they can't change it later are more likely to be happy with their decision as time passes. People who know they can change their mind at any time are more likely to become malcontent and change their dec...

Re: Deus Ex "speed issues" on Windows Vista
I've got the same problem, which is weird, as I didn't always have it. Namely, the game runs at normal speed, but in combat situations (even against 1 dude) it slows down to a halt and skips lots of frames. I mean LOTS. It doesn't run smoothly, it skips stuff and is overall very erratic. It's very h...

Re: Unofficial: Suggestions, Gameplay Help, and Questions to
Well, I know it is entirely too late to "suggest" this, but we can discuss it at least. Though I'm sure it has already been discussed anyway. What do you think of letting Trestkon switch allegiances throughout the game? Giving him 1 or 2 more chances to switch. The game teases the player mercilessly...

BTW, does the denouement take into account if you follow the WC storyline, ban Scara and do what Ryan asked only afterwards?

As for the supposed Irish accent... I get the impression that Americans actually confuse the Scottish accent with it. I've been to Ireland and I wouldn't say their accent is even that distinct.
