Who knows... If it were true then it'd probably be blown all over the press. There is often wild speculation about such groups. In the UK the people in the army now have to declare if they are freemasons as it was supposed that a high proportion of the officers were freemasons and offered advantages...

I'm still counting ~31 deco models that need finishing. There is no way I could do them all on my own in 3 weeks. I think I might be able to get another 5 - 10 meshes finished myself. Maybe texture a few of my previous ones and finish all of the UVmaps (i'm not looking forward to the shipwheel!). Th...

On the site there are a number of retextured models. One of them is the skull. I know that this model is on the list of ones to be remade...
Does this mean we will not be using the texture from the old project?

How many textures are there, are we using none of them?

I believe Metche was concentrating on the deco models for release. These models occur throughout Deus Ex, objects such as flasks, trophies, microscope, fans etc... There are 35 deco models left on the list to be completed out of ~ 60. Although not all of these will take ages to do, there is still th...

Well done on the texture, it's very good :)

The only thing I would say is that the bottom is a little too rusty. Maybe more greasy and dirty rather than rusty.

Good work though!

I extract the models and textures using Tack's Extractor but that doesn't extract in to .3ds as fair as I know. http://www.planetdeusex.com/tack/TacksDXMeshTool/TacksDXMeshTool.html WOTgreal is an editing tool for the Unreal engine which can do the same, but extracts in .3ds (I think). You will need...

Thanks n0dalus for the new site design, it's much more browser friendly :) At the moment i'm pondering which models to go for next. I'm rebuilding my PC next week so I don't really want to start anything until i've finished that. I always post in the Models & Animation Section, Deco Models page 2 to...

I use Tack's Deus Ex model extractor (http://www.planetdeusex.com/tack/TacksDXMeshTool/TacksDXMeshTool.html) which extracts the model (as *.ms3d) and the *.pcx (texture) file that goes with it. If you want to work with models there should be some UVmaps in the upload manager. I think Metche is worki...

How much do you think it would cost to buy to source code for Deus Ex with an aim of making it open source? Maybe someone should start a Gaming Heritage Foundation, with the aim of preserving the world's most fantastic digital art for the next generation. With donations buy old cult game source. . ....

After Our Deus Ex HDTP Sunset

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone else felt strongly enough about any other games to attempt at another re-texture/modelling project after this one reaches fruition. I am aware of a few for System Shock 2, also that Thief Gold had a replacement model/texture set from Thief 2. Was there ever a...
