Re: Bedroom Furniture with syntax that will BLOW YOUR MIND
I've deleted a few of these topics, I tried to do something with the first one but as DDL said there's nothing to alter. We need someone who can ban people!

Re: Bob Page Models.
I don't know how you would do it any other programme but in Max you have to apply material ids. You select the polys of different parts of the mesh, for instance the head, then apply a material id to those polys. Then in the material editor you create a multi/sub-object material and add the textures...

Bob Page Models.
I am uploading these because someone asked for them and I can't send files over private message. I guess I could email them but you never know someone else might like them as well. They are the Bob Page models and textures I created for HDTP quite a while ago. The model is in Obj format and the text...

Re: Science question.
Ah, I am dumb then haha. I thought perhaps if the mass of the floor was high enough it could create the gravity but that's pretty much the same as a gravity manipulating device, only manipulating mass instead. Screw it, I'm going with a the "Rampkin Field Generator" named after the inventor by the i...

Re: Science question.
In my game the ship needs to come to a complete stop because another ship has a medical emergency and the crew of the other ship only know basic first aid. This all happens before the player starts the game, I don't want to give too much away but once the other crew are aboard (this is when the game...

Re: Science question.
The problem with thrust is I need the ship to be still so thrust might be a bit complicated. The ship has decks, from the bottom up; there's engineering, the main deck (this has a mess hall/restaurant, medical bay, security, reception and the staff dorms), then there's the passenger habitation deck ...

Re: Science question.
I did some research into artificial gravity for another project ages ago and the best solution was rotation, but there's a golden zone. The wheel or what ever that rotates needs to be slow enough as to not cause sickness, fast enough to produce the right about of gravity and big enough so there's ve...

Re: Science question.
I think I'm going to have to go with a wormhole at each system's star and propulsion. The main ship is a passenger ship so seeing outside the ship is something I would like and having the ship as a rectangle helps with the design. There are small ships too and these need to be able to travel systems...

Re: Science question.
Oh, I thought I might be a bit confused about antimatter oh well. I think you're right, wormholes are probably the best option. I thought about using a fusion engine type thing where the engine makes a small star using hydrogen, I know there is something like that being worked on in the real world s...

Re: What are you playing?
I don't really see how you can make an MMO from Deus Ex. If you're an augmented civilian perhaps, but what would you do as a civilian in the Deus Ex world? Wait for an augmented agent to uncover the secret plot to control the population and then sit back knowing you did nothing or will you be one of...
