I just whacked him a few times with the nanosword. The nanosword can pwn just about anything in the game that won't explode and cause damage to you when you kill it.
Hell, I remember how in the original Deus Ex I'd run up to the military bots and play Luke Skywalker using the nanosword.

Re: How effective is unarmed hand to hand combat?
Well I'm finding that if I remotely try to minimize casualties I often run out of riot prod ammo, so I guess that having the Master hand to hand combat and stun gloves would be a huge help for that type of game.

How effective is unarmed hand to hand combat?
How effective do you feel unarmed hand to hand combat is in TNM? I've upgraded mine to Advanced, but when I tried to go toe-to-toe with a WorldCorp commando wielding a sawn off shotgun punching him in the face I took a lot more damage than I felt was desirable, whereas if I'd been using a nanosword ...

Re: Slicer glitch - WorldCorp basement
Wow, I didn't even know that was a glitch. I assumed he was "supposed" to be hostile to you because you are warned by some other character not to hurt him or stay out of his way or something.

Re: Great mod or greatest mod?
Agree. I was blown away when I found out it was possible to kill lots of "important" characters.

Re: The Dragon's Tooth Sword is too damn loud
The problem is, if I recall correctly, that in original DX the sound played once because the sword did a single strike so powerful that it annihilated any environmental element or full-strength destroyable door it touched instantly. Mods like Shifter and TNM change it from 100x1 to 20x5 so that it ...

My low-casualty game blew up in Goat City, violence comedy
So, I'm on my first play-through of TNM, which I am enjoying immensely. I decided to role-play as though I am an investigator or detective rather than Rambo, so I used almost exclusively non-lethal items, and almost exclusively made people unconscious all through the beginning of the game, until fin...

Of course, Bob Page's death solo ("I will burn like the brightest star"), JC Denton and Morpheus in a duet about the nature of God and fame ("The Dream of Good Government"), and of course the audience favorite, the russian inspired chorus line of the Lucky Money Sailors ("I speel my drink!"). Oh go...

Do you think Warren Spector gets a lot of fan mail?
Do you think that Warren Spector gets a lot of fan mail from gamers? Deus Ex has been my favorite game for years now and I thought it might be nice to send Spector a note, or something. But, if he gets loads of fan mail then it probably wouldn't be worth the effort...

I've been waiting for another single player mod for a long time. As soon as the translation to English is completed I shall play this mod. Years ago I studied Russian for a month or two but I did very poorly and forgot most everything I learned. However, I still remember "harasho" because the teache...

In the one I read you discover that you're an alien when you start having weird dreams about your homeworld and mutating into your true form. As I recall all the endings resulted in you either being killed or captured for scientific research. That's really poor, isn't it? I can understand a novel h...

Nope, those icons are custom. I included the ammo icons in the .rar however. DXMMAI stands for "Deus Ex Multiplayer Maps and Mods Installer". It's a massive .exe that contains loads of custom multiplayer maps and mods. http://rapidshare.com/files/49583690/ATDM.rar.html Edit: Got ATDM up. It's inclu...
