Here's something I made back when I was working on HDTP:
Disclaimer: This may or may not still be in HDTP, I have no idea.

Re: A New Decade
To finish my thought from a page ago, the mod hasn't been released because the team members would lose their stake in the project, thereby losing a percentage of the ego boost when the thing is finished by someone else. Instead of everyone pouring over the team with compliments and praise, all thei...

Re: HDTP Final?
No Mqduck, I was making a general statement about the community surrounding Deus Ex. It should also be noted that Deus Ex wasn't ' dubmed down for consoles ' - it was a general attitude to streamline the game and make it more accessible on both platforms and remove the overcomplex parts of Deus Ex....

[...] instead of working with lower poly and purely diffuse textures. I am perfectly happy with (and capable of) working with lower-spec assets. I just don't happen to have any example work to hand. The skills and knowledge required to create a good diffuse-only texture are pretty much the same as ...

I'd be happy to sort out the last few weapon textures for you. I'm a little out of practise as I've been a bit busy the last year or so, but I reckon I could get back up to speed in no time. My most recent work is here , although it's a bit old and the texturing is more oriented towards heavy shader...

The only sport I can bear to watch is what the rest of the world calls football (why did the United States decide to rename football and replace it with something else?) Assuming you're referring to the American use of the word 'soccer', well it's actually an English word. Derived from the term 'as...

Re: A question that seems hard to answer
What games graphics can you compare the HDTP graphics to? You can't really compare them to any game, due to the fairly unique conditions of visual upgrade mods when compared to commercial game development. Although the HDTP team is able to improve model and texture resolution to a level closer to m...

You seem very cautious with your use of colour and contrast, particularly for the fabric part of the uniform. Same goes for the riot cop. At the moment there's very little definition of form outside of the body armour. I don't mean to sound like I'm trolling, but right now I feel that the texture is...
