This might be worth checking out.

You can also use the "slomo" cheat if the speed stays consistent while you're playing, if it's running twice as fast try "slomo 0.5" to halve the speed, if it's running twice as slow try "slomo 2" to double it, or some variation thereof.

JAF that's not really accurate, DX has an "alliance" system where a pawn has a set alliance name and a set of relationships (friendly/neutral/hostile) with other alliances, which has its flaws but generally does a pretty good job of covering everything. Based on my experience with this section I thi...

There may be an issue with the way HDTP replaces the meshes, as I know by default a bottle with PHYS_None will stay put. DDL is the only real definitive source on that though.

Would you mind posting a link to that converter? Processing the TNM meshes for use in UEd2 would be nice.

Yeah, just human would work, specifying the package for a class that's already loaded is unnecessary, the engine can expand the name contextually. Also you can use the editflags cheat to call up the flag editing menu directly and use the -hax0r command line shortcut if we're talking about the most e...

I finally uploaded an avatar!

And it is pretty cool, my friend did a bunch of FPS enemies in the style of the bioshock camera icons. Other ones he's done so far: http://images.gorillarape.com/hosted/20080119162715headcrabicon-bs.jpg http://images.gorillarape.com/hosted/20080119165955cyberdemonicon-bs2.jpg http://images.gorillara...

I've heard of that before, I had something like that with an old rig, I thought they were pretty much a thing of the past though. Weird.

It's more the whole process of adding in bones and stuff, getting it all rigged, applying the animation, exporting to snapshot, converting to DX-acceptable mesh format, importing, and then....finding out that it doesn't like a particular poly assignation in the rigging. Or something else similarly ...

I'm sorry about your day but the biggest concern here is your health, I hope you can get to a doctor soon. I hope everything else works out too, of course.

A guy had a similar issue and he said he need some VC8 libraries:

Once I had that installed, it worked fine, giving me a nice 1400x1050 without the overscaled HUD. Excellent work!
Give those a shot.

I'm seeing in both the popup and the log an error in FMallocWindows which means for whatever reason that game is having a problem writing to memory. Maybe you can do some memory diagnostics. All I've seen so far in forums referencing the error is "reinstall". Sorry I'm not of more help.

Yeah I had issues until I used imagecfg to permanently set my dx processor affinity (I dislike the idea of changing bios settings for a game)

I figured we'd play with different methods for voicing it; some of the Debugger convo was assuredly inspired by Portal but it's really not a GLaDOS clone at all and our users will already be acquainted with the AI stuff from DX which I think is more likely to draw association in the long run, I don'...
