Re: HDTP Final?
Put on a grand show and make sure that the sense of respect for your military ability produced is overwhelming. So overwhelming that the only conclusion your enemy can reach is that victory is impossible. (The hope is that survival instinct will outweigh any sort of suicidal devotion to the enemy's...

Re: HDTP Final?
Well hot damn, I'm gonna have to give that a try. Sounds kind of Elder Scrollsish. Well, it's an RPG with a lot of side-quests, but other than that it's not really very similar. I've long been a fan of The Elder Scrolls games, but I won't deny that they got boring and repettive fast, their gameplay...

Re: HDTP Final?
Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption and Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines are not really related apart from being RPGs set in the same World of Darkness universe. The are completely different games, by different developers, and with very different gameplay styles. Redemption was a third-person pa...

Re: HDTP Final?
I've been meaning to replay IW, as I've only played it once, but my overall impression was similar to most others - it's a good game in its own right, but I much preferred the first one. IW has some cool features, but it felt too simplified for me, and I preferred the original's "over-complicatednes...

I have the exact same problem, too!

Re: New Vision Beta - Bug Reports
The question is: would it make more sense to fix the signs or to fix the map?

Re: To all the defenders
Sometimes those with power prefer to stay in the shadows, carefully manipulating the world without anyone being the wiser.

The models for Paul and J.C. haven't been released yet. They are not included in the demo.

Re: New Vision beta release - download inside!
How much trouble would it be to fix the most glaring transparency issues (e.g. the UNATCO logo) in the current release?
As simple as changing the properties in the texture families in UnrealEd and resaving?
(I really should just go and try it before asking, shouldn't I?

There's a "print view" option at the top of each thread, on the right, just under the "New topic" and "Post reply" buttons.Xesum wrote:Jonas, can I get printable copies of these Comedy Angry Internet Man Spam Thread's?

Re: New Download
I'd just like to point out that there's been hardly anything showcased from New Vision on the forums here for quite some time, so no one else has had the chance to make annoying comments either.

Re: New Download
You haven't seen NV have you? For ultimate confusion, discuss a project called NV with a person also called NV. :) I've read the New Vision forums plenty, even helped a tiny bit with packaging the demo. The main thing I remember ZB complaining about there was that the cathedral texture looked far d...

Re: New Download
I've always found him useful with regards to any modelling / texturing work, so long as you take his words with a grain of salt and know when to ignore them and do your own thing. His criticisms are always valid in some regard, even if he's not very polite at wording them. Your mileage may vary, but...

Re: New Download
Unfounded attack against SHTUP You're starting to sound a bit like one of the trolls ranting against HDTP now yourself. I mean, seriously? "His mod is lower-res than ours"? You mean it's easier to make textures that still look good when you're limited to 256x256 by the engine? Debatable at best. SH...

Re: Seriously what the fuck is the point of this mod in 2009
I propose a time limit on new members before they're allowed to send private messages.
Also, prime victim for a hellbanning (not sure if phpBB supports that, though).
