Re: Psst, Jonas

Nope, completely oblivious to the fact. Then what is the point of your anecdote? which is better looking than Deus Ex so who wouldn't be satisfied? You seem to have this constant mentality, that if YOU like something and YOU are satisfied with something, then everybody else must/should think...

Re: Psst, Jonas

Look what I did in UDK and it didn't cost me a penny: http://s1309.photobucket.com/user/CyberP1/media/map/pic1_zps16d3c638.png.html?sort=3&o=1 Note what you see is WIP, not really worthy to show and tell, there are only a few models and geometry isn't even close to being complete, let alone anythin...

Re: Endgame

It's cheap, and if it works well as a media player than it might be interesting just for that. I fail to see how anyone would start buying that thing for such a reason. Virtually everyone these days has some sort of IPhone/Android device that can do that already and you can still play games on it. ...

Re: Endgame

Maybe EA will die, but their mark will be forever left on the industry. Why? Says who? All isometric RPGs. Gee, it's like the world is not perfect and you won't always get what you want. Nirvana fallacy all the way. There is also that OUYA console. Valve's console will most likely make an impact, I...

Re: RPS coverage of Sexism, Misogyny

I think most of the mainstream coverage of sexism in the gaming media right now is essentially sensationalism and people trying to get on the current bandwagon for attention. Like that "Gone Home" guy: "Hey guys, there's all this sexism in video games and we need to stop making sexist shit that alie...

DayZ is fucking amazing. If you don't think so, you've been unlucky or the game type just isn't for you.
Or the game simply isn't that amazing.

I did, I mapped for TNM and even released a map, which I believed sparked a company to act on making a game and the experience I had seeing it's release, that I want to past down!
What are you talking about? The Conquistador thing?

Re: The Nameless End: The Nameless Mod Spinoff

The Nameless Mod grew from a pretty small project. This guy here basically wants to make a full sequel? Well, good luck with that.

because having kids when you can't get anything more than a minimum wage job will NOT be a financial disaster.
Sure, but in that case, it's not just teens that have that problem.

Re: Warren Spector farts hot air out of his mouth

First I didn’t create those theories out of thin air. I learned this at University. And I insist those are theories, not some truth set in stone. This might be just me, but the appeal to University Education is an argument that almost never works on me. Especailly since I think modern Universites a...

Re: Warren Spector farts hot air out of his mouth

Medieval societies were focused on God (you can see it the way cities were built around Churches) During the Renaissance societies focused on The Human Being, Modern Day Society is centererd on money (Banks and Insurance Companies are in the city center nowadays) Do you seriously think, that some b...

Re: Warren Spector farts hot air out of his mouth

Now, I knew your grasp of basic economics was somewhat insufficient, but are you really trying to argue you don't understand the concept of profit maximisation? A higher price does not indicate higher profits, and hence higher prices do not indicate higher greediness. Conversely, lower prices do no...
