I might as well mention here that I'm a coder with a bit of spare time that wouldn't mind helping out. I could use a challenging coding project working with a dedicated team. I'd imagine you guys are covered for coding though?

Yes I see the nececessity of cloak as being perfectly legitimate from the design standpoint. It is, after all, a rather useful augmentation designed with stealth in mind. Let me rephrase that:
If ghosting is a rewarded behavior, it would be nice if it was possible to do on all difficulties.

My only problem with the Smoke mod is that Realistic is too hardcore.

Think I'm exaggerating or being whiny? Go talk to the NSF commander and tell him you're sending him back to the people in a body bag. He kills me before the engine is accepting input again :X

Well, if ghosting is a goal it would be nice if that was always possibly. Regardless, Alginon's goal was not to avoid being spotted (though that certainly helps!) but simply to get through the game with no items. If there's a crate to be tossed over a head, he can do it! Once I finish my CRATEBASHER...
