I think having JC appear to be cloaked when he is cloaked would fit into the HDTP mission even better than the visible weapon mods.

As for JC's vision, slight off topicness:
Watch the movie They Live.
Notice that JC is wearing sunglasses.
Don't those overhead signs in Versalife look familiar?

I'm not so sure myself, the PS2 does have a clarinet (I think) rather than a keyboard. Might be worth discussing. Sorry to nit pick but the thing playing in the intro is an Oboe. ;) A clarinet has a kind of "rougher tone to it. You know I had thought about saying, "It's not worth making a fuss abou...

That is such a small part of what El Cid was.

Hahah, well you know... text devices are really easy to implement  Of the enemies that Forum City has faced historians generally agree that El Cid was the most humorous yet little is known about El Cid's activities outside our borders. Some tracked him to the twin cities of ATS and BTS but his...

Perhaps a world (or simply a city) with the 10,000 former Forum City residents DDL scared away? Given the amount of people in one vs. the other one would think they'd have a much more impressive city. The image in my head is a ghost world but DDL scared them away, not killed them. So alternate city ...

If I remember this the next time I talk about faith, trust, or perception then I thank you. I often forget exactly who and where I saw someone be separate people, and some people won't believe you if you don't city references.

I'm not sure that I've met a trinity before, nice meeting you.

Similar to a Canadian saying. There are only two seasons, Winter and Construction. (since roads cannot be repaired under snow, and they buckle in the cold, summer is devoted to road construction). We've got a variation on the same thing here. And I vote that James T gets banned for posting poetry. ...

You're right, it shouldn't ****ing be spring at 53? 34′ N in February. I have to research whether to move even further North, or move south if global warming will cause an ice age. My understanding is that it is very simple, at some point it will get so warm that the ice will melt and currents will...

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that the seasons still exist. They don't. The earth is still on an axis, yes, but there is more to a season than the amount of sunlight in a day. This (past) year there was no recognizable autumn here. Flowers came into bloom when the position of earth to...

@@Trestkon: Yeah, you canadians have all the snow, so I have to be satisfied with cold feet :P It was not always so. Once upon a time Maine voted in September (for all things but president) because of the snow. 2006 was the warmest year on record. In September there was rain. In October there was r...

Implying that it does have something to do with the DX storyline.

Then again a Hummer has something to do with the model-T production line.

Deus Ex (Machina) I always figured was more of a literal God From the Machine- JC himself. That's definitely part of it, but like I mentioned, the words "Deus Ex" in themselves are grammatically invalid, they mean nothing. Only when a noun is added does the term make sense. In fact they still mean ...

They chose not to go after individuality so what they do as an individual should not be all that important. They chose not to seek the truth so what they do should not reveal the truth. They chose to be an ignorant (low clearance) part of a larger system so it should be the system that appears to m...
