In the basement that doesn't exist...
...is Slicer supposed to be hostile when I find him? I assume I should be able to break him out and get him back to PDX, but he started as a foe and won't let up. Browsed through flags and convos but couldn't get him to turn friendly - is there a "set slicer xxx true/false" for that? Otherwise I am ...

Re: hello, thankyou and fanart
Excellent work! I particularly like the art of Scara and King Kashue. Actually, in regards to the Kashue sketch...I don't know if this was intentional, but he appears to me to be...heavy-set, if you will, in the piece. Overweight. Hefty. And for some inexplicable reason, I find that terribly amusing...

Re: So this is awesome.
I think JC_Helios has the right idea, because I managed to replicate this event by swinging a combat knife *as* Trestkon died - the "real" Trestkon died, while a second Trestkon appeared out of blue air and took a swing with the knife. Then #2 promptly fell flat, dead. I believe then what is causing...

So this is awesome.
I don't know if I'd classify it as a "bug," since it's awesome instead of horrible, but just in case the map has "two Trestkons" loaded or some other strange scripting / flagging function...here it goes. (Feel free to move to General Discussion if warranted.) Death by Dragon's Tooth led to it, but I...

Re: The Matrix, or .hack//SIGN as influence?
I can understand. Though the quadrilogy was more of a hack 'n' slash than any other game I've played to date, I still enjoyed it quite a lot and invested plenty of playing time into the four titles. I played through the first G.U. game - and while battling was definitely flashier, the second incarna...

Re: And thats one
Now I almost feel bad for (just in case...) prodding you in full view of the rent-a-guard, just to get the PDX combat music started. =/ Eh. But Invasion approved. And it *is* great music. Though my insightful brother asked, "Wait, isn't he the guy who updated the old TNM site? Wouldn't the fanverse ...

Re: Patch 1.0.1
I think I remember reading somewhere that one of the developers is very adamant about correct spelling. I am as well, and I have noticed more than a few spelling errors (or occasionally voice errors - i.e. the typed dialogue does not match the spoken line)...should I compile a list and post that in ...

Same reason for me as for Jcelios, it would appear. I like being able to jump right back into the fray.

Re: And thats one
Hm, my file time is only at 3 hours, but I've played for...probably 10 or more. I've only been to the various Forum City districts (Central, Slums, and Corporate). I just keep experimenting with all sorts of side paths, dialogue options, random murders, random thefts, random Good Samaritan acts - ma...

Re: Patch 1.0.2
Easily my favorite:
However, I still can't get on the boat. >=/ wth
The Slum one was also excellent.Changed something in PDX HQ, but I'll be damned if I can remember what. The map is 1 mb smaller now though.

Re: The Matrix, or .hack//SIGN as influence?
I...I am a wretch for having crushed another man's dreams. =( Oh, don't worry Jonas. You can rip off Xenosaga instead and have some pseudo-Judeo-Christian-sci-fi-operatic babbling about the New Jerusalem, replete with cannibalism and intra-species copulation. Call it "The Shameless Mod." Best idea e...

Re: Cheats on by default - and I want them off
...then...what in Helios' name did I do. o_O Maybe I was hallucinating. But...but the target line really was how I described it. My DVD install was a bit jittery in any case; the launcher wouldn't let me install TNM (instead it was indicating that I needed to uninstall TNM, an impossibility given th...

Re: The Matrix, or .hack//SIGN as influence?
To date, there are actually seven games in the .hack series, though only the first four (Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, and Quarantine) correlate with .hack//SIGN. The next three (Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption) correlate with .hack//ROOTS - a second anime - and they all take place years after t...

Re: Cheats on by default - and I want them off
...then I had a very unusual case, for there was nothing in the target line beyond C:\DeusEx\System\TNM.exe. That also might explain a few other...well... mysteries I'd been experiencing. I couldn't be arsed to dig any farther...so...I wiped both DX and TNM and reinstalled them. *Now* the target lin...

Re: Cheats on by default - and I want them off
-hax0r isn't in the TNM shortcut command line. It isn't anywhere that I can find, either, in any DX or TNM file command line.
