Hassat Hunter wrote:Not quite sure what causes it. Thought it was the re-actvation of the downtown one (since it appeared to happen after you retun there) but using // to make it not happen the bug still appears present in 1.0.4+ :/
All I know is that ATM's are restocked after about every mapchange.
So... this is not enough information. I just went through this sequence of actions in my attempt to reproduce the bug:
  1. Start a new game
  2. Travel to 20_Partyzone
  3. Give Pointman a pack of smokes to get his neighbor's bank account
  4. Travel to 20_FCCorporate
  5. Empty Pointman's neighbor's bank account
  6. Empty Trestkon's bank account
  7. Access both accounts again to make sure they were still empty (they were)
  8. Hack both ATMs just for the hell of it
  9. Check to see if they remained hacked (they did)
  10. Travel to 22_FCCorporate
  11. Access Pointman's neighbor's bank account (it was still empty)
  12. Access Trestkon's bank account (it was still empty)
And that pretty much mirror's my previous experience - I just can't make this bug happen. Am I doing it right? If not, tell me - in at least as much detail as I just used - how I'm supposed to reproduce this bug. If either of our programmers ever manage to make this bug occur, then we can start working on a fix.

I can't remember how I managed too do it. I will reinstall TNM ready for bug testing when I get home and I will try and reproduce it myself.
I don't think I hacked the ATMs and I think I used the machines outside the Corp. District subway station most of the if that makes a difference. It isn't likely too but just thought I would bring it up.

The ATMs next to the Corporate district subway were the ones I used. I've tried without hacking them, just taking the money and going to the Slums and back, they didn't refill. I also checked the same accounts on the Slum ATM, and they were still empty.

This isn't related to the bank accounts thing as I've not tried that yet but;

A default TNM installation includes this in the .ini: Paths=..\NewVision\Textures\*.utx
Whereas it should be Paths=..\NVTextures\*.utx.

Just something I noticed when I was setting up my .ini installation.
Can that be changed in a patch or isn't it worth it?

EDIT: Actually, Ignore that. I'm sure that's something to do with .ini Paths being copied over from my deusex.ini.

*Goes off too play TNM* So much love for this mod. I'd forgotten how much I liked it. It looks amazing with DX10 + New Vision + HDTP.

Ah yeah that would be from your own ini. Thanks for reporting though!

If you think it looks good now, wait 'till you see it with HDTP trees! Holy fucking Christ :D

Doing a PDX Playthrough now; I'll do a WC one once HDTP is released in all it's sexyness.

Anywho, I've noticed a NV issue; The Bookshelves in the book store don't have books on them. The girl looking at books is no longer looking at books. Just thought I'd mention it.

Wh-- what the hell? Did Dave remove the magazines from the magazine stands?!

That's not right at all, surely that must be a bug in New Vision, an oversight of some kind. Wouldn't this make the book store in Paris completely empty of books, too?

Actually, don't answer that.

*Checks*

Yep! :?

Erk, I didn't visit the bookshop in my run a little while ago.

When we test, does matter if we have NV installed, or would you prefer us to have a "clean slate"?

No I'd like to have NV installed, I more or less know the game has no texture problems to speak of without NV installed, now I want to know if it's fully NV and HDTP compatible :)

That's what 1.0.5 is fundamentally about, in fact, everything else is just Nick being awesome and me procrastinating from my thesis.

Hahaha! Cheers, when have you got to submit (dunno if that's the correct phrase) your thesis?

I didn't check Paris so I don't know but the Fan Fic store shelves were definately empty. :P
I'm using the demo version of HDTP.

I haven't noticed anything else as of yet. I'll keep you posted if I find anything else.

Good Luck btw Jonas!

Here's something I whipped up tonight:
New Olive Drab texture for AO's service pistol.
New Olive Drab texture for AO's service pistol.
It has new inventory and quickbelt icons to match. Sadly I couldn't fit the silencer on the icons, but the new colour is easily enough to help distinguish it from standard pistols in the inventory.

Also fixed a problem with the pickup model of ZP's sniper rifle not having a unique skin, such that its urban camo pattern only appeared in first-person. The texture didn't exist, so I had to make one.
