howdy folks. Just wanted to drop in and say a few things.
1. Hi there! You may not remember me....
2. Thank you guys for letting me be part of the best mod ever. Sometimes a person just needs _a_ chance to catalyze their life and Lawrence & Jonas gave me a shot way back in the DXEditing.org days following Steve Tack's UEd tutorials (was that 2003?)
3. Thank you guys for giving me something to work on when my life turned to **** (my life fell apart, my cat died, and then my wife died in 2004, right in the middle of my stay with TNM. Level design was just about the only other thing besides my job that I could focus on, and speaking psychologically there was a lot of searching and battling from inside my mind that came out in the world I helped build)
4. Thank you Zero Presence --> He & I had this one-upsmanship-thing going on for awhile for who could make better, more detailed, complex maps. That was good for everyone. Zero was definitely better than me, but it was fun.
5. Thank you guys for letting me retire from the mod when it was time for me to move on with my new life. My time with you guys would have been 2003-2006 IIRC.
6. Thank you guys for keeping ~85% of my original work intact (DXI, Slums, Forum City). I can't remember who I passed it onto (was it Jonas?), but it really turned out fantastic.
7. There just isn't enough time or anti-inflammatories for me to work on big pet projects anymore.
BTW, I'm happily remarried now with a great IT career going on 12.5 years (nothing to do with gaming), kids, nice house in the suburbs, lots of furry animals, no rats and a great life.
Hasta la posta.

Hiya, as one of the many, many, thousands of TNM fans, I would like to thank you for your input to the best mod ever.
Although I don't know you personally it's nice to see your life turned around from sadder days. Again, thanks.

Thank you for the input into the Mod.
The fact that it helped you through a tough part of your life, well it brings a tear to my eye.
Glad things worked out for you.
Hey stick around the forums a bit, Plenty of discussions going on

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Hey Beeblequix.
Thanks, man. Just: thanks
And yeah, it was I who took over the slums when you were done working on it - Zero brushed up the brushwork in a couple other maps, but that was it. Other than the slums, your maps didn't need that much extra work. I'm really glad you like the way they turned out.

A most welcome visit
I'm extremely happy to hear things are going so well for you, Beeble! Where do you hang out (virtually) these days?

Fun to talk to another developer.
I really enjoyed DXI, and Forum City is a cool city.
1. I remember the character . I was on the forum here back in 2005, but a complete TNM outsider.
2 - 6. Hey, no problem.
7. For heart problems, projects can be frustrating. Still, I do seem to get covered in bruises and cuts/burns with every big project and should probably take an aspirin now.
Thanks for working on TNM. It sure turned out well.
