And thats one

Post by Scale »

13 hours of game play and that's only 1 ending and 1 religion.

I for one am very impressed with the level of quality you have provided for us,
I am very grateful for being able to have playing this game.

Thanks for all the story, laughs and excitement (and still to come fun)

I definitely saw someone say he completed it only a day after it came out.
How are you guys playing so quickly? 6 hours for me and still on the first level in Downtown. Can anyone else beat that?

Well at least 1 hour was probably spent in the fan-fic shop reading the books and listening to all the conversations (although if I remember correctly, conversation times don't actually go towards the time shown on the load/save screen). The rest is just from exploring literally every nook and crannie; I spent a while traversing the outsides of the map too, and that was how I found the 2nd easter egg.

By the way... my entire 1st playthrough was 26 hours. I tend to wander and get distracted a lot, at least 1-2 hours of that might have been from my constant med/repair bot visits too. Anyone slower than me?

6 hours and some and just arrived at Goat city. And something funny happened there. I killed the priest guy preaching in their church, and when I came at the Llama temple, proud at what I had achived, they were all hostile...? They should be glad I killed him!

17 hours so far, just finished saving Silver Dragon, and escaping World Corp via the sewers. Now about to return to the 2nd level after the PDX debriefing.
I got completely lost in those sewers, as expected, and couldn't even find any easter eggs, although I did find DDL, which I'm guessing is some sort of secret judging from Narcissus Entity's PM.

Same here my first playthrough took me about 25 hours. I did take my time and I did get lost a few times, but I didn't even try to explore everything cause I wanted to leave some for my next playthroughs. But since I love sneaking I usually move very slowly and carefully. Anyway I wish every game were as long and deep (and awesome) as this one. Can't wait to replay it too, there's so many things I missed on my first playthrough.

Hm, my file time is only at 3 hours, but I've played for...probably 10 or more. I've only been to the various Forum City districts (Central, Slums, and Corporate). I just keep experimenting with all sorts of side paths, dialogue options, random murders, random thefts, random Good Samaritan acts - many of which conclude with Trestkon's untimely death (even the Boy Scout options!). I read every book and paper and magazine, digest every conversation, bother the Board Guests until they utter the hilarious "l-o-l-o-l-o-l-o-l-o-l-o-z," pause the game while I work on college assignments in order to keep the incredible music going, and often run laps in Yardbomb's extradimensional shop until Trestkon's poor legs shatter. I am absolutely, positively, unfailingly addicted at this point. I love it. I love it to death, life, and existence. I suppose that's what the awesome development team is looking for. Been waiting for years, and it was all worth it. =)

[[tl;dr version: Great job, everyone. Fantastic job.]]
I'm pretty confident in everything from the neck up.
