In fact I think we're the only people that have played a fps ever. So much for a games course (puzzled look) lol

Ha ha ha ha! Nothing wrong with an ego in moderation. Unless its an ego like Christian Bale's. O_OTrestkon wrote:*activates emergency ego containment measures*;)
Yes, it's quite a strange phenomenon, actually.teknikal wrote:Jonas wrote:Also, I am getting the feeling that Deus Ex fans are all cat lovers... *looks down at Jack her tuxedo cat on her lap*
I liked your interpretation of Deus Diablo particularly how different he looks from the other two mods. It captures his qualities as a feared, respected, and mysterious maverick nicely. The in-game DD has too much of Walton Simons in him in my opinion, but in your picture he's definitely his own character.teknikal wrote:
Actually its not THAT bad... but this it is a place where many people give me and Matt (Majestic) odd looks for still playing and enjoying older games like Deus Ex, Duke Nukem 3D and Duke Nukem sidescrollers!that guy wrote:A game design course where no one has played an fps? What sort of crazy university is that?
And yeah I like the art, especially scara. I also agree with jonas that the glaring omission is kylie.
teknikal wrote:HAHAHA! Oh god no it isn't! It's a nationwide epidemic! It's awful... we have 3 games courses at RMIT. Games Programming, Games Design and Digital Art. (they're not as good as they sound...only adequate)
I'm doing Digital Art (of course)
They had me taking a class in Art History and Theory!!! IT WAS HELL!!!
What course you studying at anyway?
Oh and this is random, but seeing as your from my neck of the woods you'll probably know what I'm talking about...
My uni made me participate in a segment on that ABC2 show Good Game in 2007 (I HATE this show!)
Fucking gay topic... Girls & Gaming. I felt so degraded. They made us dress in our PJs like it was a teenybopper party, and the girl who hosted the segment had never played Resident Evil 4! It was such an awful topic I couldn't really talk about Deus Ex. I think it really made me sound and look stupid. Ugh...
Goddamn it I hate Australia when it comes to games (and the net!).
