In fact I think we're the only people that have played a fps ever. So much for a games course (puzzled look) lol

Ok Jonas, Kylie is also on the list :D Although I might draw them in whatever order suits me at the time. Might not follow it from top to bottom. So yes, that means she might be NEXT next.

Ha ha ha ha! Nothing wrong with an ego in moderation. Unless its an ego like Christian Bale's. O_O

Also, I am getting the feeling that Deus Ex fans are all cat lovers... *looks down at Jack her tuxedo cat on her lap*

Yes, it's quite a strange phenomenon, actually.

I, however, refuse to become a feline slave!

I liked your interpretation of Deus Diablo particularly how different he looks from the other two mods. It captures his qualities as a feared, respected, and mysterious maverick nicely. The in-game DD has too much of Walton Simons in him in my opinion, but in your picture he's definitely his own character.

Damn, I think you managed to capture the feeling of the characters perfectly. Your style fits very well with the feeling of the mod. You even managed to capture the feel of Deus Ex. Awesome job!

Good luck with your game development aspirations! I'm in the same boat, except I'm a modeler. It's a long trek, but I think your style would be awesome in a game. It translates well into 3D, since you have a bright color palette and a great balance between exaggeration and realism. You wouldn't have to rely solely on the face topology to convey expressions since you could animate the textures or animate the mesh itself and it'd work either way.

You drew those!? Sh*t that is superb! If I were you I wouldst be earning some money off of those skills! *Drools* *Stares*

I love the others as well. :D

Unfortunately I can not draw worth a sh*t....

(You draw so well I had to use (Partially censored) vulgar language to best describe it, damned English language, all limited and everything... (>.> @ English))

Thanks for the comments odawali, Magnas and Kee715!

You're putting me all on such a high! Which is great 'cause I've gotta spend the next few days making concept art for uni. Thanks a bunch for increasing my motivation :D

A game design course where no one has played an fps? What sort of crazy university is that?

And yeah I like the art, especially scara. I also agree with jonas that the glaring omission is kylie.

Actually its not THAT bad... but this it is a place where many people give me and Matt (Majestic) odd looks for still playing and enjoying older games like Deus Ex, Duke Nukem 3D and Duke Nukem sidescrollers!

Yeah and we are also the only ones at uni (plus 1 lecturer) who actually give a damn about Deus Ex.
For example:
said lecturer asks: "what is the best game ever made?"
me: deus ex!
other people: final fantasy VII! halo! gears of war! super mario 64! zelda! (good games I agree but not the best ;))

and YES I'll draw Kylie soon :D

As an aussie yourself you'd prolly know our game industry and education really sucks. LOL (wow de Blob... thats a "great" game *coughs*)

HAHAHA! Oh god no it isn't! It's a nationwide epidemic! It's awful... we have 3 games courses at RMIT. Games Programming, Games Design and Digital Art. (they're not as good as they sound...only adequate)

I'm doing Digital Art (of course ;))
They had me taking a class in Art History and Theory!!! IT WAS HELL!!!

What course you studying at anyway?

Oh and this is random, but seeing as your from my neck of the woods you'll probably know what I'm talking about...

My uni made me participate in a segment on that ABC2 show Good Game in 2007 (I HATE this show!)
Fucking gay topic... Girls & Gaming. I felt so degraded. They made us dress in our PJs like it was a teenybopper party, and the girl who hosted the segment had never played Resident Evil 4! It was such an awful topic I couldn't really talk about Deus Ex. I think it really made me sound and look stupid. Ugh...

Goddamn it I hate Australia when it comes to games (and the net!).

Look on the bright side. Based on what that guy said over on PDX your health care system kicks some serious ass.

Ah well, but that's the level of most television shows today. Degrade something for comedy and higher ratings. "OH LOOK GIRL GAMERS!!! THEY MUST ALL DRESS LIKE THIS!!! AWESOME!!!" *sigh*.

But this topic really makes me sad that I don't have a useful talent aside from general problem solving (as opposed to specialized problem solving which is actually useful).
