I remembered agreat way of recording voices. It's all theories but I think it could work.

Record you lines with a mobile phone.
Transfer the files with a USB cable, bluetooth or IrDA
If your mobile can play mp3, it's probably playable on a PC.

Now all I need is to buy a usb for my LG2200

I did some testing with my mobile phone, no crackling, clear sound, need more confidence when speaking to a phone

maybe.......but it would cost me a fortune

sending to and other operator, or even accross the europe, no mercy, theres a big price tag
here in Croatia, our mobile operators are real scumbag, ripping off our money, treat like our country is from the stone age, even when ADSL is in question

But make sure your first question is whether he even wants to record his own lines, as I seem to recall him telling me he'd rather we get somebody else to do it. Don't hesitate to blame your question on my forgetfulness.

A microphone with better quality is neede before I can record proper sample, yes. I also need to require one brand name of a microphone which would be suitable, yes.

Brand names are less important than the type of microphone. You should get something directional which stands on your desk and doesn't carry a suspiciously low price tag, then you can be reasonably certain it provides acceptable quality

These locations must be available in Eastern Canada, yes...
