The spy drone would be perfect for finding problems in plumbing or ventilation systems.

No it wouldn't, before you find the problem you would run out of energy like 10 times :)

Compare:
Spydrone which allows you to survey the problem to be repaired from a safe distance and, at higher levels, allows you to remotely disable malfunctioning equipment with an EMP blast.

Aggressive defense system which lets you ... stop the missiles from an angry military bot but still allows you to be shot to death?

Which one seems more repair man like, really?

Oh. There's another page. All of this has already been said. Oh well, posting anyway.

As representative for carpenters and allied tradesmen I have to say that becoming a repair-man in the world of DX would be a very bad career move. The development of repair bots to take care of delicate tasks has all but put average joe construction worker out of a job. This explains the lack of such tools in DX and means players taking the role of repairmen are generally disillusioned by unemployment and unusually likely to bludgeon large numbers of people with the tools of their trade.

As a result all patriotic repairman players should also destroy all work-stealing repair bots to preserve the profession for future.

Hahahaha! I don't know about Deus Ex but I'm sure there is a new Simulator out that suits the criteria.

The Sims Shop Steward 6 and the expansion pack for that is Union Rep Revisited.
