Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
Are the cheats always supposed to be active? I thought I saw someone mention that they'd try TNM without the cheats, so can you turn 'em off?

Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
Well, you could just, you know, not cheat
-Life does not snap to the x-axis
Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
You can also do useful non cheating things like checking the flags, just to make sure you have enough Narcissus events triggered and such.

Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
Or to actually answer your question ( ): remove -hax0r from your TNM shortcut and the cheats will be disabled.

Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
Trestkon, that requires a level of self-control I don't have, I'm afraid.
Flags? Flags?? Where?
Thanks, Jonas!

Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
What is it Lieutenant Sebastian?
It's just the rebels, sir. They're here.
My God, man! Do they want tea?
No sir, I think they're after something more than that. I don't know what it is, but they've brought a flag.
Damn! That's dash cunning of them!

EDIT: Wait... Bobby's post, editing flags is a part of the legend cheat.
Bob uses the tilde key, types legend, uses the edit flags option. He then looks at the number of triggered Narcissus events and that the start count on floor 3 at WC was ten and the end count was zero. Bob does not edit, alter or change one ferking thing. Exits back to the game having checked those figures.
Bob is satisfied with the figures and also in not editing the flags that he has not cheated.

Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
Yeah, I just had no clue what she meant until I read your post. I wasn't saying you were cheating.
Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
Sorry JC_Helios, that rant was only to re-inforce the console use for other than cheating. I didn't intend to "payout" on anyone.JC_Helios wrote:Yeah, I just had no clue what she meant until I read your post. I wasn't saying you were cheating.

Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
Yeah, the legend cheat is handy for that... made me realise when writing my walkthrough when running around downtown 2+ hours earlier the Phasmatis Shrine flag didn't trigger because I didn't get near enough to it. Oh, and I needed to talk to Kashue for that flag to be set.
Aside from just random cheating to prevent having to re-do certain scenes and still get all the info of the various choices .

Can somebody tell me how I can get a custom avatar?
Oh wait, I already got one...

Re: Patch 1.0.4 requests
Okay, I know that patch 1.0.4 is already out, but perhaps this could be a request for the next patch?
If overlapping inventory items causes a problem, then is it possible to have a paged inventory (say a page for weapons, a page for tools (med kits, bioelectric cells, suits and rebreathers, etc.) and another for food and miscellaneous junk?
In Deus Ex I used to use the inventory overlap to be able to carry all the larger weapons behind the smaller ones, such that I had one square open to pick each one, and I'd put things that were permanently on the belt (like lockpicks and multitools) behind other stuff, as well as med kits and bioelectric cells (since these are accessible from the health and augs screens), and stacked food and soda items in one stack so they would be available, but not take up all my real estate. I'd also carry my fire extinguishers stacked on top of each other. Some time I'll have to get a screen capture of my inventory when fully populated.
Anyway, is it possible to change the inventory to a tabbed page layout with multiple pages? I realize it would take a bit of coding to make weapons automatically go on the weapons page, and food on the miscellaneous page, but even if we just had several pages to work with, regardless, it might be nice.
