Build.exe

Post by Trestkon »

I've uploaded a new version (dated appropriately). Jim fixed a bug that was preventing compilation of the packages.

However, there still may be a bug or two remaining, I'm at school, so I can't test it. I'll test it when we get home, hopefully all our packages should be working with UED 2 sometime this week:D

Note, Jim says to change all double forward slashes (//) which appear in strings, to anything else, even just a single forward slash. I think that only appears in a few files, I'll test it tomorrow.

Converts packages to UED2 format.

Progress!

All the packages compile now, but you get an error about not being able to find MPCharacters.u if you try and open our maps. I figured out that this is because several of our characters use:

LodMesh MPCharacters.mp_jumpsuit

So I just have to monkey around with that a bit, and hopefully have this thing working soon:)

I think the only character who actually needs to use that is Trestkon. As far as I know, the only difference is that the MP version has all the player animations, so anybody other than the player (Trestkon.uc) should be fine with the regular SP version.

What about the new crouching animation? Does that need the mp models?

You know the one that shane coded, he had trouble getting it to work at one point because the characters didn't have a crouching anim but I dunno if that's because Shane just didn't see the sequence in the single player characters or if he used the mp ones.

Yeah there's no plain crouching animation for no mp models I think. They can crouch and aim but not just crouch.
