Ideas for fixing the Kylie bug

Hey,

I just wanted to toss about ideas for fixing the "sliding kylie" bug:

1)Make anims (may be hard to do...)

2)Somehow incorporate her sliding around into her character. Just like "ZeroPresence" runs around really fast, maybe for some reason Kylie can float around really fast.

Maybe she has levitating boots that Scara made for her, etc... might actually make her a more interesting opponent :-). That and it has the added bonus of being easy to implement.

Well, that's my two cents.

We might have been able to do this for Kylie, but there's no way we'll ever be able to come up with a reasonable excuse for why Athena and Jackie are doing the same. They use the same model, and they too are combat NPC's ](*,)

That's odd, I don't get the floating bug for Jackie, only for Kylie.

Well Gelo, thank you for getting me off my lazy ass to check those animations. It turns out Kylie's model DOES have those animations that she needs :D Thus, the problem must lie in the coding. Could it be something with the Speed Enhancement aug, Shane?

Whew this is a pretty old bug! It was TNMAugSpeed as it turns out, it multiplied the anim speed too much to render nicely :)

Woah, good job finding that! It's a bug I'll be glad to be rid of.
