If Harvey intended it that way, so be it :)

Hey.
Been playing through a lot of levels and most of the textures look great and seem in place.
But, my question is about the openGL file provided in the download. I understand that its a moded version of the original openGL?
Well, i had the original oGL and the old textures and with it i could render textures (the old ones) that were very far away but with the new oGL it looks like the 'vanilla' Deus Ex (in terms of how far the textures are being rendered).
Is this intentional, because the better textures would cause the game to slow down? Or have i messed something up?

2 -http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/6720 ... trelhk.jpg <= it looks very green, doesn't it ? (Unacto HQ, Liberty Island)
The second one looks awesome imo - it's meant to be some kinda shed and I love that whole green metallic look going on :D

the smiley's a two face

and in those restroom's there's a dark panel on the wall, looks to me it should be a large mirror, or it's just as it is....

I don't quite understand what you mean, could you ellaborate?

Placebo..not sure what the heck's going on with that. Will look into it. The refelctive surfaces is a problem with DirectX, it's mentioned on the ENBSeries site as a fault with the Direct3d renderer it's based on.

Just to let you know. Reflective surfaces do work if you edit your DeusEx.ini and look under [D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice] then set ShinySurfaces to True.

Didn't think of trying that. I'll drop a line to the ENBSeries guy.

I might try getting this renderer to work with Unreal and Rune actually...I think that bump mapping would benefit that style game way more than Deus Ex.

Maybe its the wrong topic but i have a problem.
I can't start the game.
Ok it starts but its all black. I can navigate in the menu but i can't see anything.
I have replaced all textures and the old .dll with the new one.
The entry in the ini file is set.
Under the DX9 renderer it works, but only the old textures.

My OS is Windows Vista and my graphic card an ATI 4800 series.

Only thing I would suggest is trying to use an updated Direct3D driver, which you should already have I think to get ENBSeries to work. Make sure you set the S3TC tag under that section of the DeusEx.ini - there's no reason it shouldn't work under ENBSeries.

This sign looks a bit odd. It's in the submarine base , just before you reach the freighter.
