Your enthusiasm warms my heart, Yuki, just don't advertise it too loudly if we get it working, I'm not sure how Eidos would take it :P

Sincere thanks to Fred and Pinto for their contributions to the NV project!

Hopefully a non beta release is only a couple of months away!

I don't know when a non-beta release of NV will be out but, correct me if I am wrong DaveW, didn't you say that the odds of having NV out before HDTP were practically non existant? :)

I do recall him saying that, looks like we will be running NV before we will run HDTP. (Watch them release on the exact same day)
Hmm, I really wish I had a signature...

I can't really say, since I have no 'input' with HDTP anymore. All the art is done, it's just up to DDL to package it which is obviously a huge task for one person with other stuff to do. So, I don't know.

As for NV, most of the textures I want to do are done. It's not all of them, about 20-30% will be missing most likely - but I'm afraid I don't have the interest in game art I did when I first started the project. Luckily HP and Fred have been helping out - but if needs be I'll go back into texturing if only to see this thing released. Probably about the same time I release I'll be upgrading my web host and I'll be able to give the raw compile files to anyone who wants them, in case some texture artist wants to finish off.

It's mostly small detail textures like steps that are going to be untouched. They're not terribly important, and I think the game will still look great without them to be honest.

Well, DaveW...

You have done a really amazing job covering such high percentage of textures and nobody could really ask you for more. Lack of motivation after many years into the project seems rather natural to me so I am very glad that you got some back up now!

With 70% of the textures redone and the chance that HP and Fred complete some of the missing ones in the future, things look all of sudden very bright for NV! =D>

I am honestly more worried about HDTP... Everything's been on the shoulders of a single person for many months and that responsability must be a big burden for DDL. My hope is that he also can get some external help sooner or later.
