ABI basement halp

I'm kind of stuck in the basement of ABI, there's a locker that's INF and I think I need a key to open it so I can complete my goal. Now, I've been looking everywhere, where is the key? O_O I'm sure I'm missing something very obvious.

Are we talking about the ruins?

It's a moderately complicated level, uh... from the locker go back up the stairs and then take a left. At the bottom of that staircase, take a right up the half-spiral stairs, then keep right across the wooden planks. Go to the right down the hall and up the stairs, then take another right down another staircase and you'll reach an area of bedrooms. The key is in the bedroom guarded by a commando.
