I guess I didn't make myself sufficiently clear, so here once again is my answer to your suggestions for whether we'll implement teleportation:

NO.

But thanks for asking.

My bad; that was a suggestion for Jetsetlemming how to easily handle teleportation if he was to make that mod.
Can somebody tell me how I can get a custom avatar?
Oh wait, I already got one...

I'll get right on that TNM Search mod right after I finish my Knytt Stories masterpiece, my current random Deus Ex puzzle map, and when I think TNM is done or just about done with patching. :P

This is something I said a long while ago in the bugs thread:
is it at all possible for you to stick a Burden of 80 Proof style stats readout in the ending? Just for curiosity's sake? I love me some stats. I was looking through the flags the other night, when I was almost finished the game, just because (curiosity again), and I noticed a count which appeared to be a kill counter per area. Other things like number of side-quests completed versus available, number of main characters killed, and number of Narc triggers found and Easter Eggs (you only see what number an easter egg you find is when you first pick it up, so it'd be nice to see which ones by number you got and which you missed) would be neat.
Is this remotely considerable? Because I'd really appreciate it, especially the Easter Eggs part. Only way to figure out which ones you got otherwise is to read the full list on the wiki and spoil yourself to the location of the ones you missed.

No that's not really something we want to do. We did the denouement instead, and we think that's more interesting.

How about a news bulletin for killing Mercedes (PartyZone owner) and walton simons?

Although it's likely too late, I think it would have been fun if in the WC story line, Trestkon taunts Phasmatis during the confrontation about killing Mercedes. Right now Jackie reacts to SymGeosis getting killed, yet Phasmatis doesn't care if his girlfriend is murdered.

On an unrelated note, anyone else like the tunnel to Goat City better in 1.0.0? I liked how you could see the city on the other side. After the patch everything's whited out.

it would make the game really hard, they would wake up angry at you but too delerious to run in a straight line or to shoot properly

That was one of the features of No One Lives Forever 2 (which I got after hearing it was similar to DX), and indeed, it did make the game very hard. You had to physically remove their bodies afterwards (like gibbing in DX) so they wouldn't wake up and hit the alarm.

My biggest complaint (and there are few):

Fire. Nerf it. Fire is the absolutely most fucking irritating shit ever. It simply can't be put out unless you leave load of room for a fire extinguisher in your inventory. You just keep burning... and burning... and burning... and before you know it all of your medkits are gone. Forget all the thousands of bullets, rockets, etc... one tiny puff of flames did you in.

Please, fire is so obnoxious it makes me scream at my computer every time I get fucking flamed.

How about adding movement restrictions with the fireblade on lower skill levels (like heavy weapons)? I don't mind it being overpowered but it seems unfair that an untrained melee fighter is just as effective with it as someone who invested skill points in low tech. Yes, I know the damage goes up but the difference between 100 and 150 damage is negligible in most combat situations, and upgrading the skill just for wrecking certain doors is silly.

Also how about removing the laser sight from unique weapons (EMP pistol and AO's service pistol) so you can have fun modding them later? And since laser sight guarantees 100% accuracy (DX glitch) why not make the mod harder to obtain? Finding the rare and powerful laser sight can become it's own mission (not literally, but meaning more stuff/exploration to do in the game).

What the hell, I didn't even realize the EMP pistol came pre-modded with a laser sight. That's probably a mistake. I'll probably remove it for 1.0.2.

Not the one on Alpha's pistol though - the fact that it comes pre-modded is the entire point.
