because of the emp pistol, and the blow dart gun, the pistol set has become much more versatile, while it can't really effectively deal with the biggest threats in the game, as it just never has a very high dps, so long as you aren't dealing with something huge, of a giant mob, you are pretty much set. Absolutely essential for stealth runs.

Well most huge things in TNM are robots, and the EMP pistol deals a whopping great deal of damage to those, so yeah. Pistols are good.

True, but relying on the emp pistol for those will usually lead to ammo=0, so having something else to share the burden is usually good.

I usually carry pistols, a high powered sword like Dragon's Tooth or DD's Fire Sword and grenades. I sometimes carry a gep gun, but as I've been playing the game more again I've goten most of my skill back and don't need it. Although I will miss playing the whole game shooting things in the head

Pistols are pretty much the best weapons in Deus Ex anyway. A pistol paried up with a Dragons Tooth sword and a GEP gun is pretty much the ultimate weapons combination in deus ex and thanks to the EMP gun in TNM a GEP gun isnt even necessary anymore.

Spekking of wich, is there any way to get the EMP gun when siding with Worldcorp?

Sure there is, you just walk in and grab it

I tend to favour the sniper rifle (over the 10mm pistol, not the EMP pistol). It's much more precise at range and much more powerful, and it can be silenced. I usually use it without zooming in because it's much easier to hit with that way, stupidly.
