I'm doing a PDX playthrough. I'm on Day 2 and i need to find the DXO HQ but i can't find SymGeosis, who might help me, neither blow up the gate near Sol's bar because once a throw a LAM the firewalls go hostile on me and i don't want to have unnecesary casualties. Is there any way to get past that gate?

The guy you're looking for is in the Slums. IIRC he can be found near the helipad in a corner near the fence. After talking to him you'll get further directions.

Alternatively try ringing all the buzzers on the apartment next to the gate you're trying to blow up.
