GS Level Design

Post by Daggsy »

Decided to go with Ryan's plan in the GameSpy spacestation this time round...

My God, who's twisted idea was that escape sequence? Even with all the platforms in the right place, the engineering chute is absolute hell. The ladders are hard enough to climb as it is, without getting randomly kicked off them by explosions!

... Wait, is there a back way out?

You mean on level 4? Turn off the gravity, and you can jump it in a single leap....

Aha, good idea. Didn't think to. It's possible to do it with the gravity still on though, it's just REALLY hard.

Getting out of that chute with the gravity off is probably one of my favourite moments in TNM. The way the explosions bounce you around is simultaneously frustrating and highly entertaining. In my humble opinion.

And I designed that area, btw :)
