PDX storyline: finding kidnapped pilot

I'm playing the PDX storyline, but it appears I'm kinda stuck - I need to go rescue the kidnapped pilot, to get to ABI.
I've talked to the guy near the helipad in the slums, he points me to this girl in (what's left of) Sol's bar - Jackie.
I've talked to her, and she points me to the alley behind the bar.
I enter the alley via the appartment, but nothing's there, except for the locked door to the fridge at Sol's, and the locked gate besides Sol's,

What am I missing here?

There is something in the freezer room.

fair enough, there is a keypad in one of the crates

thanks, but - how do I get into the fridge, and find the code for the keypad, in-game? I've found the code here on the forum, and can of course cheat the door open, but that not how the game should be played of course

The freezer should already be open, if I recall correctly.
And on day 2, the keypad is already bypassed, so just use it and the door will open.

The door to the freezer should not be locked. From the alley I mean, the door between bombed sols and the freezer should be locked.

somehow, I was certain it was locked, but indeed - unlocked it was, and the keypad was indeed already bypassed.
