Can't find LodMesh in file 'LodMesh TNMItems.HDTPWeaponPistol'
which suggests a very basic problem. I'm a little confused as to why both mods seem merged together and hopefully I don't need to recompile any dot u files or whatever. I expect it's a simple solution to fix right? [-o< as I'd love to get back to completing the mod. Should I use the older versions of the mods or something? I'm using the latest of everything (TNM 1.0.5, HDTP Beta Release #3, New Vision 1.5).
Many thanks!

You might try downgrading to TNM 1.0.4+ and see if that fixes the issue. If it doesn't, perhaps try uninstalling HDTP just to see if that does the trick.
Other than that I'm not sure what would have changed, but if that savegame is really 5 years old, maybe it'd be best to just restart from the beginning anyway?
By the way that purple text is a crime against good taste

How vulgar of me. I can assure you that colour will never appear again.
I got it to work! I'd backed up the 1.0.4+ files so when I put them back I could load my saves again. Thank you so much! I had a sneaking suspicion this would work but I wanted to see what 1.0.5 was all about. I guess there's no way to see the new interiors and such without starting a new game? I suppose there are two branching paths so I may end up doing that anyway so I can install the new files when I finish the 'good' story.

Good that you got 1.0.4+ to work
1.0.5 was pulled because it's got bugs that can make a game unplayable without resorting to cheats. If you're determined to try 1.0.5, then install it in a complete separate, from scratch, install of DX with TNM.
There's a new patch in the works, but with only 7 people working on it, it's going to take time.
