Multiplayer: Consys version mis-match.

Alright, I hate to make some (most likely stupid) question my first post here, but whatever.

I've searched around google and these forums trying to figure it out.

When I try to join a multiplayer game (and yes, I have the latest patch for both Deus Ex and TNM) it'll download the various maps. (I guess that's what it's doing.) but eventually it'll stop with the error "Consys version mis-match" I don't know if this is a Deus Ex error in general or a TNM error. I don't know if it'll stop giving me the error if I play just Deus Ex and try multiplayer rather than TNM.

I'm running this on a new Dell Inspiron 1564 Windows 7, running in XP compatibility mode.

[Random side note] A Multiplayer mode specific to TNM would rock. I'm sure you've already thought about it though. [/Random side note]

Hiya, welcome to the forums. Firstly, even though it's in the TNM menu, there's no multiplayer for it, so that's a possible cause. Can't really help you if DX is the problem, however there are more clever people than myself to help there. I don't even know if there is still a DX multiplaying community.

Yeah don't use the multiplayer button in the TNM main menu, it doesn't work. I thought we just disabled it actually, but I guess we never got around to that?

If you open up vanilla Deus Ex and launch the multiplayer from there, you should be fine
