Can't get TNM to run after install

Hey People
Thx to the devs of this mod! I love these mods. Enjoying a System Shock 2 mod currently. I ran a DX mod that was okay prior to TNM but TNM looks really good.
The only problem is I get an error running the shortcut on the desktop. When I run the TNM exe in the DX directory fine no error but it doesn't looked modded. The desktop shortcut has way more command line strings.
The error when I run the "official" short cut is "Function DeusEx.DeusEx Weapon.PreBeginPlay" Then a whole bunch of files...
I installed, deleted fully all files. Then I reinstalled with the same error.
I'm using XP with the third service pack. I have a fast machine with 4 gigs and a good vid card as well.

Firstly welcome to the forums. Is the other mod installed as well? TNM and some other mods, Shifter is a good example, aren't fully compatible yet. If you ran TNM after a fresh install of Deus Ex did you run DX just for a little bit before starting TNM?

When you say you uninstalled, did you also uninstall Deus Ex and the other mod you mentioned?

I completely unistalled in the control panel and manually erased the leftovers in the DX directory.

So it's a fresh install of Deus Ex and you only installed TNM and no other mod?

I first tried installing with the hdtp. Same error. Then I completely uninstalled and deleted directories and reinstalled without hdtp.
Funny my netbook ran off the hop with the hdtp and tnm?!? Weird...
The mod looks amazing!!! Good job people!
Now if I can only get this to run on my home machine:-(

If it runs on the netbook and not your home PC you might try installing this exe. Save your current DX exe and remove it and replace it with this. Deus Ex and subsequently mods like TNM can run too fast on modern systems and that can cause a host of weird glitches. It's just a suggestion as it's strange it runs on the netbook and not the home PC.

I got TNM to run on my windows 7 drive fine even with the hdtp as well.

Thanks Bobby. Yeah they did an amazing job! Bucky (sp?) the cat, Ghandi and even Jonas's character in game are hilarious. Adds to making the game more fun and more real.
I've never played a mod that was so deep and funny. Mod of the year for sure on that mod site moddb and elsewhere!
