Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

But, while searching for the TNM's walkthrough I encountered a problem: TNM's Wiki, along with the walkthrough and pretty much everything else is down due to a database error. What's worse, because someone used robots.txt to repel off the search engines and the Internet Archive, there is no cached copy of the walkthrough anywhere! And I kinda need it now...

So what do?

The full error message is reproduced below:

Code: Select all

A database error has occurred
Query: SELECT value,exptime FROM `objectcache` WHERE keyname='otp_tnmwiki:stats:request_without_session'
Function: MediaWikiBagOStuff::_doquery
Error: 1146 Table 'otp_tnmwiki.objectcache' doesn't exist (mysql.offtopicproductions.com)

Yeah it's been down for a while. Database was destroyed by spam bots.

Was the entire database with all tables destroyed or are there only some tables missing?

No idea. OiNutter used to handle these things for us, but like the rest of us, he got a life and stopped having time for that kind of thing.

Aw, man. It'd be good if there were even a plain text copy of the stuff. New screenshots can always be taken, but the text was unique.

Shows how destructive robots.txt can be, if used in the wrong place :-(

Okay, that worked, I got the PDF. Thanks!

It would have worked even earlier had Dropbox not been down for hours (I don't know exactly how long it was down, but it sure felt like hours). So much for the "cloud".
