I'm afraid it won't do you much good, we've just been talking to Eidos Montreal's PR guy René via PMs at the Eidos forums. He doesn't have anything to do with the original Deus Ex and he doesn't seem to have that much power in the first place - the original plan for the extra patch content was signficantly cooler than what we ended up doing, but he couldn't arrange it when it came down to it.

Not to complain or anything (I like it), but the first time I used Deuxhero was in June 2005, but TNM takes place in 2004. (and no, I never had a consistant nickname before that point). Not that it would be the first Anachronism in the mod, this lists some tropes that have only been added in the past year (such as sunglasses at night, a trope "created" in late 2008).

We're not too concerned with anachronisms external to the fiction. The hitman poster in the reception in the first first level of the game, for example, is from Hitman 4, which wasn't released until 2006, and several games and films are found lying around the world which hadn't been released in 2004. We also have people in the game that were never part of the PDX community, and we have people in the game who'd left the community long before 2004.

The medbot in WC next to Scara seems not to be an TNM-Medbot, because you can't upgrade existing augs with
an aug-canister.
Oh, and i ran into the same trigger issue as on my first playtrough. (before DXI)

Hmm, i don't know if it has something to do with blowing up the security bot by shooting the explosive barrels in the yard, but after doing that sometimes i trigger that event so that i find myself on the elevator down to DXI!

I really can't replicate this. And the triggers look fine, they're set up to only trigger by player contact. No idea what could be happening to you.

Anybody else manage to reproduce this bug?

3 more days of TNM, here's the result:

* Doors: Alpha and Jackie's locker on day #2, Jonas' cabinets on day 2 too, llama security room desk locker (day2), Athena's Door, Yardbomb's storage door (day 2), cupboard in Ryan's room, ABI Locker holding the WeaponsRnD password, Endars desk drawer, all 3 Weaponsrnd Ammo lockers, HTTP Gamespy restaurant grate to lower "hidden cache".
* Kunio Kun "fix" from Shifter is not working properly, as all aug upgrades get added "secretly", thus you can still end up with 30 or so or more. This same thing happens with Gas Grenades (If you cannot carry any it still picks one up, and keeps it in your inventory until there is space, then it spaws it when you use F1) and the Sheep Poster of DXE.
* Kunio Ko, without handing the disk: Say you buy one, then go for the other. It'll be 1000 credits instead of 1500 as it should (one time offer!).
* I think I found out why That Guy's passcode list was deleted. It misses all it's passcode info once you have a levelchange! It seems to be coded someway instead of a regular note?
* JHarolds/gunnut and DVandervort/MONSTAR passcodes don't seem correct.
* Phasmatis gives his door key so I can take a shower, but the door is standing open? (but "locked")
* While the "normal" printers work fine, there are some issue with the printers looking like copying machines. The notes don't vanish when you pick them up! Thus when you want 2 you have to print 1, destroy it (sword), then print the second and pick it up. Very annoying. (Examples: King Kashue's/DXI printer).
* Even if I told Slicer I kept Zero alive, King Kashue and Phasmatis talk like you battled (and killed) him. He's considered alive properly for the remainder of the game.
* Jonas/A2 conversation is triggered twice.
* "Twist" Chapter 9: The second-last page is missing, it's a copy of the third-last page instead of the content that should be there.
* "Twist" Chapter 11: Should the final page be a repeatal of info before??? (Can't check)
* "Twist" Chapter 13: Page 6 starts with a lot of text from an earlier page, that shouldn't be there.
* Chris VO/ST mismatches still present in 1.0.2: "Paul started off as a typical... [etc]" is way off. In the previous line ST: "Members", VO: "People". In the line following "Paul started off..." the ST says "Mary the mother of Jesus", but the VO says "Two other Mary's". In another line it says: "The vatican disavowed the sainthood of Sara. Not decanonised, disavowed. Unlike decanonised saints she isn't even referenced (or somesuch)" while the voiceover just mentions: "The vatican decanonised her sainthood".
During the Templar conversation. In a single line it's both "Christi Militia" and "Cristia Melita"??? (Wikipedia is blank on either)
* Destroying the Tablets as Llama makes the Goats inside the Templae(TM) past the passcoded door friendly (except Athena). Thus it's possible to move around, disable the valves and kill her and get the key for her vault! Unfortunately Beefman would not confirm the kill when done like this.
* 22_Yardbomb spawnlocation when from 22FC_Corporate is still wrong. Also; the Blowpipe and Katana are back, even if I bought them on day 1.
* There is a great black "nothing" in drain E07, just past DDL's lab on day 2. You can pass it, but you cannot return, effictively needing you to reload/ghost. Faulty meshes?
* On day 2 the locker near the Spiderbot in the WC Section of the sewers didn't allowed me to pass after blowing up the door.
* Blow Pipe's Laser Sight not working properly (should it be possible to install a laser on a pipe anyways?)
* Killing in DXO doesn't turn camera's/turrets hostile.
* No convo options for King Kashue when Kevo is dead (Kashue and Trestkon talk like he's alive)? Also the goal I get never passes away, since I never meet Kevo again (I take the ROFLCopter, and no damage because I skip the scene of the crash).
* Post-Kevo goal mentions to go to ABI and the slums, but you still need to be debrieved in PDX. Probably it should be slightly modified, as it's possible to leave for ABI then already, but you'll miss all the buildup.
* Spiderbots (all types), Snow Wolves and SecurityBot4 have DEFAULT WEAPON.
* Being captured by ZeroPresence turned my 6 Vortex Grenades and 10 LAM's into 1/1 :(.
* One of the ABI guys got only a knife to attack the Leviathan with (poor guy).
* The launch of the shuttle is not a cutscene (The fade to black is :?), thus you can save and all. Also, if you frob it standing infront of it, the "removed" Trestkon blocks the launch.
* Since Trestkon's Pistol's can't take reloadmods, apparently mods can be blocked. So why does the Firestaff allow recoilmods, if it has no recoil?
* Good ol' Security Bot Crash (with the mini-aliens).
* Non-Solid Wall (see screenshot) in the AI module.
* Another repeatable crash: PDX Side. If you disconnect Narcissus, you get Evil Invasions PM. If you get to the room with the security droid before it's over, it crashes when Narcissus PM starts to play (General Protection Fault; something with Cleanup of Datalink).
* Beeblequix' cat is white during DXI, but suddenly black during the denounement :?
* You can still get the PDX endgame when the station blows up if you banned Ryan before blowing up the LEET's. I think the blowing up should really get a check to prevent from being run IF Ryan is dead/banned, cause that would solve pretty much all Ryan endgame issues I have reported so far (like getting the Ryan ending if you banned him), including this one.

I try to download the username and password list from That Guy's computer, but upon looking at it in my datavault it only says something like "worldcorp userlist:" and then no more data.

Also, for the secret underground basement, if you go through the hole in the wall, you know that small glass structure that makes up a doorway just before the room with the bot, you can walk through that glass.

Did you look at it JUST after downloading it, or did you wait a bit? Did you cross a level transition first?

Interesting.

I guess we've rediscovered the reason why I removed that function from the game in the first place. Probably some silly GUI hard cap on note size :P

It's weird though, it definitely worked when I tested it after adding it back in. I wonder what's messing it up.

Well, to add to that weirdnesslevel:

Once I discovered taking the elevator resetted the note, I thought about it being a size-limit thing, so I copied and pasted the info (after a load game) into several different notes.
They all got blank upon the transition, so it doesn't seem to be a size-limitation, more the way the passwords are added to the note? :-k

Started my WC 1.0.2 game. Results:

* DXA Guard in PDX HQ with lvl 3 NPC's ("Pnishing") sits through chair
* Jonas turns his back to you instead of facing you during some lines. At least these 2, probably more: "Yes, I know who you are, but I don't have time to talk. Go bother Kashue instead." and "I just can't trust you with sensitive information until I know you won't shack up with Scara, that maniac."
* Gabriel doesn't offer anything anymore when talking about the EMP grenade and not buying. Also; you get 4 when he dies (seems to be always the case when looting 'nades of bodies?).
* WC Level 2 Electronics R&D says it needs 2C, but it already opens for 1B.
* I am sure it drives you crazy already; but I can't get Trestkon and Clark to talk about the graffiti. I am pretty sure they should at some point, no? Or only if you see it before giving Kaigan his coffee?
* Assaulting PDX: Jonas still has no subsequensts, and the firewall remains friendly.
* "- Replaced the strung-up WC Commandos in Despot's flat with corpses."
Not sure if that happened. Since they are still included in the count and make hurtsound
* Despot got no subsequents?
* If you return to Despot's Apartment after the WC quest you get stuck, since you cannot get back up and a fallen piece of the roof prevents progress towards Despot himself.
* 500XP bonus without description in Despot's? I am sure this should be a "Critical Location Bonus", no?
* OiNutter speech: In the "Whipped cream is awesome" line Hoely misses (TM). Also the following line of the Enthusiastic Goat says troo without (TM).
* If you ask Jim for more a reward, then accept the quest Trestkon says after each other "Alright, then. I'll see what I can do", "Nice. I'll come back once I have taken care of it". The second line is a little redundant.
* Killing Jim wont end his quest.
* I killed Abomination before getting the subpass. No issues, I thought. But later, when I got DT's quest to destroy the tablets, the Llama front door was still INF/INF locked, and since there is no other way in... there was no way I could complete that mission (or enter the temple at all during day 1, not tried at day 2 yet).
* Use Pimp-Jojo's device on the WC servers and get a PM from the long dead Evil Invasion! :P
* Killing Wolfy doesn't end the quest. You can steal his key, and then if you do stuff inside DXE (i.e. killing people) he still sends PM's.
* After the DXI report and getting the ABI quest, and talking about lost permissions for lvl 2 and 3, Scara no longer talks to me? (no subsequents, no convo's). Shouldn't I be able to get the ZP-quest now?

Also; last question. Is the killstuff tied to the Counts? And is the killing bonus XP present? Because I killed pretty much everyone present in FC, besides the Llama's (couldn't enter) and the goats, and I got mentioned a killer in the news bulletin, but no "Mass Murderer Extravange" bonus :(.

Nah those were all cut, implemented in some of the conversations instead. We decided it was undesirable to punish you for adapting your play style to the situation instead of sticking to a particular style. Glad to hear the bulletin worked though :P

Found a minor bug related to the goats
Here's the setup to (hopefully) reproduce it:
-I joined Scara
-I betrayed the Llamas and did not take the money from them too.
-I went to the temple before going to server room
-At the temple, after listening to the absurdly long sermon (Could you please put that in a cinematic so it can be skipped?), I chose the "Scara wouldn't like that" option
-As I was leaving the server room, I received a PM from the Dark Templar talking about how I was a Goat, getting my first Quest, and a secondary objective to meet him in the temple.
-He was not present in the temple. I looked very hard.
