Unreal Ed Texture Eyedropper

Post by SilverSpook »

Is there any way to select the texture of a surface in UED to then use to paint with, like an eyedropper?

Alt+rightclick = grab texture from surface
Alt+leftclick = apply currently selected texture to surface

It's a massive massive timesaver. :)

I tend to not think about the textures till after the mapping process. It is a problem that I do this because I cannot seem to select surfaces from the brushes' being selected. In other words, you cannot select all surfaces from the brushes by selecting a bunch of brushes. You can't ctrl-alt drag for surfaces, iow, and this can be bad for sprucing up buildings with tons of surfaces and brushes. I guess the only work around is to intersect, and make the entire building a single brush, but I plan on going through in detail at some point, so I'm not that lazy.
