A refuge for those migrating from the fallen DXEditing.com and a place for general discussion relating to Deus Ex editing (coding, mapping, etc).

Excellent work. I'ts impressive that you made all that stuff all by yourself and so fast.

Yeah, and I had to learn all of it from scratch too. When I say from scratch I mean like, I was unfamiliar with the basic logistics of computer programs outside of playing games. So, the rest of the maps should pump out a lot faster.

Most of that was constructed from memory because I live and work in downtown gville. Sucks cuz I don't want to spoil the storyline, but I plan on scratching the original beginning taking it from here and then following the original game's storyline very generally... even using a lot of the same general architecture... but just added... everything.

I think a lot of the new textures I could get from digital photos, but if anyone has a plethora of textures, I'd love to have them. I'm concerned about creating a model for the Omar. I mean, I could use the MJ12 scary trooper, and i'll do that unless I get ambitious enough to by a modeling program.
