Slightly off topic:

Another Co-Op mod has surfaced on Moddb.
Any connection? http://www.moddb.com/games/deus-ex/down ... elease-v10

Update:
Finally finished a huge rework of the way the old maps are saved. This finally fixed the crash bug on certain level changes. Some stuff related to skillpoints / goals on map change probably needs still to be implemented. Also the maximum amount of flags replicated to the client is to small. So HX is almost feature complete, but still needs polish and maybe i should add generic DeusEx fixes.

Update:
Finally major feature complete. Conversation, Barks, Goals, Flags and stuff a working an are kept across maps. So the game is pretty much playable, but feels very unpolished. Is someone interessted in bug hunting?

Another Bump:
Dozens of notes of bugs and small features yet to fix. But it seems pretty enjoyable though.

Schroedingers Paul

/edit: Any suggestion on how ending of Mission 04 should be done?
DX SP is like: If you talked to Paul and die afterwards goto MJ12 Jail.

Easiest option would be: If one player dies, all go to Jail.
Another option would be: respawning is disabled, and if all players are dead, goto jail. But this is problematic, since the other players can still change maps. This might work just for Battery Park fine (with option to take the Sub back disabled)

All options are some kind of strange in gameplay.

I'd vote for if one player dies all go to jail.

Hey, if I can find someone to play with me I could help test it out. Never really bugtested before, but I'm trying to get some experience with it.

ThisIsMyUsername, nerdenstein:
I need to set up some sort off bugtracking system and at least fill in the list with bugs i have on my own. Also i don't how how well HX behaves in internet play, since there are at least ten times more actors around then in normal Unreal Engine 1 game's multiplayer.
Having some sort of IRC channel as a meeting point would also be nice.
For now you can add me in ICQ/Skype, just send your number/username.

/edit: bug tracker set up and filled 60 tickets

I added a Starting SkillPoints/Augmentations/Augmentation Upgrades Bonus system, for starting on a later mission. Also i have added a setting which scales the amount of skillpoints the players get, since with scale 1.0 they will end up too skilled and it would not favor specialisation and teamwork - one of the things which can probably be pretty cool in coop. I also started on getting interpolation to work in mp. For now the heli and boats use smoth clientside interpolation which looks not that chopped up, only downside for now is that they start with a sudden 90deg turn. Also can up with an idea to fix the garbage collection problems with the FlagBases which led to crashes, seems to work like a charm for now.

Pop up player options, and click the Augmentations button:
Image

Here you will find on the left side an option to configure your prefered augmentation for a specific slot. On the right side you can select the priority of the augmentation upgrades. A higher value means, that this aug has a higher priority. An aug with a priority one higher then another will get one aug upgrade more then the other (if available), with a priority two higher, two more upgrades then the other (if available).
Image

On the create game screen you can select the number of bonus skillpoints the player start with, the skillpoint penalty, the augmentations which are available and the number of augmentation upgrades available. Mission 06 as a setting for Augmentation means you can have all augs from the augmentation cannisters which are in the vanilla game including mission 6. However, one augmentation cannister still counts as one augmentation, e.g. after Mission 02 you can only have enviromental protection or auqualung, not both.
Image

Yep, here we are.. some augmentations installed. AugPower was not, since there is only one cannister for Power/HeartLung. Combat is one level higher then ballistic protection and leg has no upgrade, since there were no upgrades left.

Maybe i'll add starting inventory as one of the next things. I have a nice idea for this. :)

It's just the server which runs when i test things. I have not yet released a version and disabled package download, because if i won't do it, the other client will crash because of the missing HX.dll.
