Well there was no thread dedicated to this I thought "Why not?"
The first one is DX, which is really quite cool:

Total time taken: 43 minutes and 20 seconds. O.o
The Invisible War one is not as cool, it primarily shows how much more flawed IW is compared to DX.

Total time taken: 26 minutes and 49 seconds (Including the ending cutscene, AND it could have been done faster if it were not for several things) 0.0
Speedruns of DX and DX:IW (And maybe TNM later)

To be honest, those 'flaws' were one of the most fun things about it. I didn't really notice them playing normally, but I had hours of fun exploiting the physics bugs in the game. It was awesome.Kee715 wrote:The Invisible War one is not as cool, it primarily shows how much more flawed IW is compared to DX.

Well to be honest you can do the same thing with Half-Life 2, it also uses the Havok Physics Engine.
Not that I do not like Invisible War, but if it had been worked on more (Was it rushed? It seems a lot like what happened to B&W2 to me (Rushed ( ))) and been more like the original 'twouldst've been much better, it seems incomplete (Damn Xbox, taking away PC game potential )

Ah, but while HL2 uses havok physics WELL (and indeed made the physics a fundamental aspect of the gameplay), IW uses physics hilariously badly. Throwing a corpse at a crate will inexplicably catapult both objects fifty feet into the air. Touching a table will cause everything on it to leap away as if fired from a cannon, and so on...
But as Dave says: it's entertaining.

Well...
Yes, 'twas somewhat amusing.
And a chair bleeds, thank you Ion Storm for the bleeding chair.
