Emulators are beautiful. The only thing I don't like is giving every game quicksave instead of forcing you to play with the save systems the games were originally designed with. Thankfully you can ignore the quicksaves for most games, or some it's more beneficial (games where there already was quicksave but it took a while to write the data).

Here are some singleplayer-centric exclusives for you to consider:

NDS:

Castlevania: Order of Eclessia

Xbox:

Call of Cthulhu: DCOTE (PC version is a buggy port)
Ninja Gaiden

PS2:

Final Fantasy X (I remember you already played XII)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Tenchu: Wrath of heaven

PS1:

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Final Fantasy 7, 8 & 9 (7 is on PC too but music is MIDI format)
Metal Gear Solid

N64:

Duke Nukem: Zero Hour

SNES:

Final fantasy 5 & 6

There's many more, but I'm trying to recommend the exclusives that hold up pretty well overall. I could recommend something like Spyro the Dragon or Turok 2 but I'm not sure you'll be able to appreciate those like I do.

Meh, I like the PC's versions scenes better.
What did they do to the intro's music? :(
Can somebody tell me how I can get a custom avatar?
Oh wait, I already got one...

Couldn't see any mention of this so I thought I'd say: Deus Ex on PS2 supports keyboard+mouse input through the console's USB ports.

I recently bought a PS2, having bought the PS2 version of Deus Ex a couple of years ago, and can personally confirm it works.

Just don't use a fancy keyboard or mouse - the PS2 won't work with them (presumably the cause is something like the device having an internal USB hub).

60FPS is all that's going to really make a difference in practice anyway. Most monitors still only operate at 60Hz, even.

Oh. Seriously though, above 60Hz you're seeing incredibly diminishing returns anyway.

That's not true but such a minor topic is not worth arguing about :)

I liked some of the map changes, any chance they could make it to the PC via a mod? Revision?

We've mostly locked down the maps, we might bring over one or two changes just because. We'll see.
