Please don't kill me for this, buuuuutt... there's a GEP in one of the towers at the airfield in Lebedev's mission.

Or of the the MJ12 Troops has one in the Area51 map where Helios is (he is on the walkway above where you enter), but I guess that is a bit late for that in the game unless you just want it to take out the spider bot near the entrance to sector 4 or the hordes that the UCs spit out...I can't recall but is there any more NPCs that have one?

I usually take sniper because you get it scoped(the one on the map requires you buy a scope for it).

I never get the sniper because you can easily get one from the NSF troop near the entrance to the Statue after killing/KOing him and looting his corpse.
