Error loading game

I get this error whenever I try to load the game. I'm not smart enough to know what any of that stuff means so I was hoping someone could tell me. I've reinstalled multiple times. Failing this I'll see if I can just install it on another computer and transfer the directory.

Just an opinion of something to try, but my inclination given that screen shot is to say to reinstall (since what happened seems due to not finding proper code, namely ENGINE.*), but you say you've done that so my next inclination is to say you have virus/malware you need to scan for and clean off that machine or your hard drive is going bad. Long story short, your data is getting corrupted somewhere.

That's exactly the same as the one I have . Same error.

I'm doing comprehensive virus scans right now.

You should check Core.u/.dll and Engine.u/.dll instead.

I installed it on another computer, transferred the directory over and now it's working. I'm definitely going to do another couple of virus scans and maybe a disc cleanup and defrag. Never hurts. Time for some Deu Sex .
