Probably a dumb question, but currently, do you lose stamina from getting shot?

Well as far as my knowledge goes nope you don't. But I think that's okay that way.

The installer is nearly done. Not long before testing shall begin.

I'll also have to put out an update soon, show off some art assets, and the more flashy of new features etc.

Very nice! I can't wait to see!

Edit: Instead of making a entirely new thread for this , I thought first I'd ask it quickly here first.
I can't seem to get the GMDX map files open in unrealed, with the exception of 02_NYC_Bar.dx which opens just fine, I noticed in this thread CyberP mentioned to "Place everything in the GMDX\System folder into DeusEx\System (may want to back up vanilla DeusEx.u beforehand)" which I've done but get the exact same results.. All I get t is just an empty screen aside from the pointers. http://i.imgur.com/7bCB6Go.png

Thanks Cyber! Been trying to get this to load the past few days, missed that post somehow though lol.
I just tried your advice and there was no change? Here's my editor log http://pastebin.com/w3Fjk1im
Also finally updated the sub, sorry that took so long.

Warning: Failed loading package: Can't find Class in file 'Class DeusEx.PlaceableDecal'
GMDXv8.0 DeusEx.u is not found. Find it in DeusEx\GMDX\System and place it into DeusEx\System.

Thanks for the help!

Was already copied over, http://i.imgur.com/XhfTPUp.png

Like you said to Bogie, the first thing I did was copy the GMDX folder contents over.
I've tried copying the files over again JIC something went wrong, reinstalling DX&GMDX&UnrealEd, as well as various other minor things, like moving everything to the root of my C drive.
And a whole buncha google.
Been workin on the issue for a few days.

Finally admitted I dunno how to fix it and posted here lol

Try loading the DeusEx.u package directly via the editor.

Launch UED -> Select the actor browser -> Click the "Load" button and load the GMDX DeusEx.u package directly -> Confirm the placeableDecal class exists/the correct DeusEx.u is loaded by finding it in the actor browser under Decoration/DeusExDecoration -> load the map.

If you get another error after completing all these steps then send me the editor.log again.

Tried multiple times and no matter how many times it's loaded placeableDecal doesn't appear. http://i.imgur.com/DlbEAi6.png
Here's a vid I made of me doing the whole process.

Also tried loading maps after this step and predictably failed

Ah, I forgot: also transfer the contents of HDTP\System to DeusEx\System, except HDTP's DeusEx.u. Should be the problem.

If that doesn't work:

Where is unrealEd located on you hard drive?

You sure it's the correct DeusEx.u? Looks like it is. 6mb sounds about right for v8.0.

Are you sure the EditPackages lines were set in the DeusEx.ini found in DeusEx\System and not in any other DeusEx.ini?

I think it's already been brought up once, but I don't remember the answer so I'll ask again.

Is it possible to change the shotguns' sabot rounds to a single bullet rather than pallets in a spread? Not only it's more true-to-life and consistent in-game (as those what sabot rounds really are - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabot ) it also helps differentiate one type of ammo from another.
If a single-bullet concept is adapted, it's expected to have better accuracy in this mode - this will make the shotgun viable against bots and security cameras in short-to-mid distances (as it doesn't have a scope), but not much else. It's a boost more than anything else - but taking on bots in short distances was always a bad idea, so maybe it's a good idea to have it.

Also, picking up used rubber ammo doesn't really make sense, but I guess it's balanced for it? Kind of ambivalent about changing it, but it did break my immersion a bit so I guess it works against your goals.

Argh, Deus Ex's way of implementing weapons is wrong on so many levels!

I'll consider it. I'm not sure how I feel about removing the shotgun's spray and pray ability vs bots and turning it into a lesser-ranged sniper rifle (3*8=24 base damage) yet it would help distinguish the ammo types and add more realism.

Not from a gameplay POV!
